OCTOBER Monte Vista Village 2021 8865 E. Baseline Rd NEWSLETTER Mesa AZ 85209 480-833-2223 From the General Manager Hello Monte Vista! It has been great to get to know so many of our wonderful residents and I look for- ward to meeting more of you as our seasonal friends return to the community. Our guiding principal is simple, to make Monte Vista Village Resort the best place to live, work and visit by making tomorrow better than yesterday. We are excited to share the many improvements that have taken place over the past few months. The new Fitness Center and additional sport courts are near completion, finalizing of the Woodshop Dust Collection system, renovation of the dry sauna’s at the main pool complex, and many other projects that have been accomplished. To our year-round residents, the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight and cooler temperatures are in our very near future. To our seasonal residents, we look forward to showing you what we have been up to the last few months (or 2 years for some), we wish you safe travels on your return to Monte Vista. On a personal note, I have been married 19 years to Deanna and have two boys—Vinnie, 16 and Dominic, 14. Our family is complete with one year old Diego. Brian Sedona Hockey Diego *Not pictured—Vinnie February 2021 With Dominic (he’s 16) From the Activities Director Hello Monte Vista!! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jennifer Perisho. I came on board in April as your new Activities Director and I am so happy to be here! I have spent the past 5 years working at another resort in Mesa, similar to MV. Prior to that, I was a stay-at-home mom raising my two “kids” Ashlee and Ryan, who are now 23 & 25. I live in south Chandler and have the most adorable 3-year-old Pomeranian/Shih tzu named Khloe. If you live in Monte Vista full time, chances are we have met, and my hope is I was able to keep you busy and entertained over the summer. If you are just returning to Mesa, please stop in and introduce yourselves! We have a completely new staff in the Activities Office, and we cannot wait to get to know all of you. We have a great season planned for you with something for everyone! Make sure to get your tickets to the Luau and our Halloween Monster Mash Bash with Caution! It will be an absolute BLAST! Tickets are available NOW for everything you see in the newsletter, so don’t wait! I am looking forward to the cooler weather and seeing all of you out and about in this beautiful community.
