8865 E. Baseline Rd. Mesa 85209 February 2022 Activities Office 480-833-2223 x2

FEBRUARY Monte Vista Village 2022 8865 E. Baseline Rd NEWSLETTER Mesa AZ 85209 480-833-2223 From the General Manager We hope your new year is off to a fantastic start. There is a lot excitement throughout Monte Vista that 2022 will be an exciting year for all of us and if January was any indication, it will be. We are in peak season as we all bask in the warm Arizona sun while much of the rest of the country is seeing below freezing temps. We look forward to these next few busy months ahead as we continue to improve Monte Vista and enjoy the community, we all love. The new entrance and exit gate construction is well underway and on track for a Spring opening. As you know, both the Baseline Road and Steven Pollard Avenue entrances and exits are closed during this automated gate installation and all resort traffic is directed to use the Ellsworth entrance. You may use the resident lane when you have your access badge but any visitors or residents without their badge must use the visitors lane. We appreciate your cooperation during this process and apolo- gize for any traffic delays this may cause but hope you understand this is temporary until the completion of the gate installation. Additionally, we’d like to remind you of the speed limits throughout Monte Vista. We understand you may be taking different routes through the community due to the gate closures and may not be familiar. The posted speed limit on all residential streets is 10MPH and only on Monte Vista Blvd is there an increase to 15MPH. We ask that you continue to abide by these speed limits and want to reiterate that resi- dents are responsible for the speed of deliveries, contractors and guests that they invite into the community. It is each drivers responsibility to drive at a safe speed. If you have any questions or comments about what is happening here at Monte Vista, don’t hesitate to call the office at (480) 833-2223 or email me at [email protected]. ~Brian From the Activities Director Love is in the air this month! What better time to show our love and kindness for our Monte Vista neighbors, volunteers, and staff. We encourage you to think about the special people that make a dif- ference in your life and consider stopping by Activities and sending them a Valentine Candy Gram. A little kindness can go a long way! We have another fun filled month with many events coming up! The Heart Throb Hop is sure to be a fantastic time so grab your dancing shoes and come enjoy the band Silhouette. If dancing is not your thing… who doesn't love a banana split?! Stop by the courtyard on valentines day for that sweet treat. Paint N Sip this month is a heart theme as well. We have steel drums at the pool, or take the bus to a hockey game. Something for everyone! Our focus is always on creating the very best experience for our residents with a variety of fun events to choose from. Happy Valentines Day!
