Our FaaSamoa Festival will begin with a ”Faiga Lotu” Service on Sunday, June 26th, followed by a week of “Fa’afiafiaga” Samoan Traditional Performances, Cultural Festivities, Sports Tournaments, and our 1st Annual Miss Samoa Alaska Pageant, The festival will conclude on Friday, July 1st, 2022.

The FaaSamoa Cultural Festival this year will mark our first year in celebration of our Samoan Community's thriving population in the great state of Alaska and its FaaSamoa culture, heritage, art, dances, cuisine and music in Alaska, promoting diversity and cultural heritage for all Alaskans and building cultural bridges in the broader Alaskan community.

The highlight of our FaaSamoa Festival is the Flag Raising in Honor of the Independent State of Samoa’s Independence and the US Territory of American Samoa‘s Flag Day Celebrations; acknowledging our Heritage and Homeland here in the Last Frontier, State of Alaska.
