Manyyears, the rest of our family is swimming while I am decorating for fall.I always decorate for Christmas the weekend before Thanksgiving so wecan enjoy it just a little bit longer, with the more lights and glitter, thebetter. One of our favorite Christmas traditions are the ornaments mykids receive from the grandparents every year. When Landri was a baby,my mom had an ornament made that had her picture on it. Now all 3kids have them from their very first Christmas until now. They decoratethe kids tree downstairs. We all love looking back at their pictures everyyear. I also love the pictures I have from when the kids were babies untilnow of them sitting in Gary’s lap reading “The Night Before Christmas”.Some of our favorite Christmas memories have been Santa’s Village inRichardson, Grand Prairie Lights, and the 12 Days of Christmas at theArboretum. We also listen to A LOT of Pentatonix Christmas music.www.CanyonCreekLifeMedia.com 7
