ACTIVITY OF ANDIJAN STATE MEDICAL INSTITUTE IN COOPERATION WITH ANDIJAN REGIONAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT To ensure the implementation of the tasks set out in: the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.2650 dated November 2, 2016 \"On measures to further improve the system of protection of motherhood and childhood in Uzbekistan in 2016-2020\", PD No.-3440 dated December 25, 2017 \"On the State Program for Early Detection of Congenital and Inherited Diseases in Children for 2018-2022\", the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 11, 2018 No 386 \"On the organization of effective obstetric and gynecological services for women, children and adolescents in the Republic of Uzbekistan and further improving the quality of medical care\", joint Resolution of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated January 15, 2018, the Republican Council for Coordination of Citizens' Self-Government, Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Center for Secondary Special, Vocational Education, the control over the work carried out by the primary health care institutions has been strengthened. With the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of medical services provided to the population, as well as to increase medical culture, during January and February of the current year, 86 comprehensive medical examinations were conducted in all cities and districts of Andijan region by 625 professors and teachers of Andijan State Medical Institute together with 387 Master students, 518 clinical residency students and 545 undergraduate students. Each comprehensive medical examination was performed by a working group consisting of 12 types of specialties (a total of 2064 employees).

177129 residents of Andijan region underwent in-depth medical examinations. 7287 diagnosed patients were treated at the clinic of ASMI, regional and district medical centers .

A targeted action plan has been developed in collaboration of ASMI and RHD to prevent maternal and child mortality in the region. Professors and teachers of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Oncology and Neonatology provided practical and methodological assistance on capacity building, improvement of professional skills, effective use of new technologies in maternity complexes in Shahrihan, Asaka, Andijan, as well as in the regional perinatal center, regional children's multidisciplinary medical center. Professors and teachers of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of ASMI conducted 64 trainings on the effective use of contraceptives for obstetricians and gynecologists and midwives working in medical associations of all districts of the region. On February 23, 2019, a scientific-practical conference on \"Actual tasks of protection of motherhood and childhood\" was held for obstetricians, gynecologists, pediatricians, neonatologists working in MCs of Andijan region. The resolution of the meeting on the issues discussed at the conference was adopted and shared with all experts.

In order to strengthen the integration of science, education and production, contracts were signed with the clinical departments of ASMI, with 25 MSs in 17 city and district MSs attached to the RHD, and with 52 MSs in public-private partnerships.



The professors and teachers of the institute conducted 158 lectures and 162 roundtables in 17836 patients in the districts of the region. In particular, 512 events were held in rural medical stations, 67 events in mahalla communities, 78 events in secondary schools and 36 events in colleges.

In the districts, the leading professors of the institute conducted 36 lectures and master classes on modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of problematic diseases in each region. Professors of the institute Y.S. Egamov, K.K. Mirzaev, H.T. Musashaykhov, F.N. Nishanov conducted 18 complex operations on abdominal cavities in Pakhtaabad, Asaka, Jalal-Abad, Markhamat districts of the region.

In order to further strengthen communication with the staff of primary care DPMs, as well as to regularly inform them about medical news, telemedicine was established with Izboskan, Asaka, Kurgantepa, Markhamat, Ulugnor districts of Andijan region and 12 lectures and seminars were conducted by leading specialists of the institute, as well as consultations for problematic patients.

There were 84 appearances on television and 26 appearances on the radio to promote medical culture and healthy lifestyles. .

A lot of work is being done in our country to further improve the quality of qualified medical services to the population, to improve the quality and efficiency of primary health care. This, in turn, will improve the quality of reforms in the sector and expand access to health care for all segments of the population. In addition, a

number of measures are being taken to strengthen the reproductive health of the population, to provide them with patronage services and preventive examinations. In order to provide qualified medical services to the population of Sokh district, which is located in the border area of Fergana region, leading specialists of Andijan State Medical Institute MD, professor D.B.Asrankulova, MD, associate professor B.R.Abdullajonov, c.m.s., associate professors U.T.Abdukodirov, D.N.Kholmatov, R.SH..Sayfuddinova,B.M.Vakhobov

were mobilized on June 11, 2020 in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Leading specialists of the institute provided qualified medical services to the population of the district central hospital, 2 RFPs and 5 RMSs. . They performed 2 complex gynecological surgeries for the first time in the district, as well as comprehensive medical examinations of more than 1200 D- supervised patients. 102 people with disabilities and 26 low-income families with disabilities were examined at their homes and provided with necessary medical care.
