For an optimum match between load and deck length, the vehicles in the SPZ-L series have single, double or triple extend-ability for load lengths of up to 55m. The integrated turntable bolster steering is equipped with a hydraulic dual circuit forced steering system. That ensures full steering capability if one circuit should fail. The SPZ-L flatbed semitrailers come with pneumatic suspension as standard. As an optional, they can also be fitted with hydraulic axle suspension. Unlike the vehicles in the SPZ-L series, the SPZ-GL semitrailers have a cranked goose-neck for a much lower loading height of approx. 1,200mm. That makes them ideal for transporting long rotor blades over long distances.
