Editor’s note welcome to the first edition of our monthly magazine,’ What’s The Faff?’. In case you’re wondering why we’ve named it as such, well the word ‘faff’ speaks to a multitude of things that are connected to Srishti, and has wide-ranging connotations, from indulging in ineffectual conversations to thinking about high-level concepts. We’ve all been down the rabbit hole of never-ending thinking..ask any student how they came up with their last design inquiry and they’ll tell you! That being said, we must say that the amount of talent that students possess is astounding. From poetry, illustrations to branding and packaging design, we at the editorial team were amazed by the variety of content that we received! Through this magazine, we have tried to capture the essence of what it means to be a Srishti student. We racked our brains for ages(okay not ages) to curate a range of content that is sure to keep you hooked. There’s something for everyone, right from the funnies around Yelli, to a collection of inspirational student work. Cake popsicles and artisanal jewellery catch your fancy? Get all the info about how and where to get your hands on them! What’s more, they’re all made by your fellow students, and if you have something people might enjoy and not mind paying money for, then the magazine is the perfect place to advertise! This and a lot more await you in this edition, dear reader. Think of it as a Kati roll, brimming with spice and tang, nestled in a cover that’s equally drool- worthy! And if someone asks you what you’re reading with a big silly grin on your face, just tell them, “Its the faff bro! Get yours too ! “ With love and socially distanced hugs, The Editorial Team

If people adopted a new perspective the target audience could extend to everyone, once again making the accessory a non-gendered possession. I r hoping that life would be chiller wonder why I get asked this question s than it was at home, but with so often.I feel 6 AM is a bad time for all the covid restrictions, life in anyone to wake up,especially to go PG is like a jail. Moreover, my to the bathroom ! I personally have a caretaker’s quarters smell like timer that reminds me not to get off alcohol every day. How do I tell my bed before the sun rises. You say her “baantne se pyaar bhadta you hear your flatmate’s boyfriend hai”- thirsty third year. peeing and that wakes you up.My advice would be to use super strong ear plugs when you go to the loo,or even better, blast pee sounds from a speaker so that both you and the boyfriend’s audible tinkles get cancelled out ! Sigh, sometimes I even surprise myself with my intelligence.. All the best my sleep deprived friend ! It seems to me that either Akka is always your caretaker has a drinking on point! problem or you have a thirst problem. As they say, ‘the grass is always greener on the other side ’,but in your case the other side seems to be a desert ! Let me just clarify, alcohol is NOT going to make things more fun, unless it’s white rum mixed with sprite and some lime. Now that’s a great thirst quencher! I guess what I’m trying to tell you is, When life gives you lemons, you have two options -make lemonade,or a potent cocktail ! 8

Foundie Blog So once I was roaming around on SNAPPED the streets of yelli and we saw these similar graffitis all around yelli, Fed up of ALMOST EVERYWHERE. these foundies Being new and the one of the early doing birds in yelli I just had to find out “foundie about these graffitis so that i could things” on my boast about it when my other foundie streets. classmates showed up. But soon i just kept procrastinating the plan and eventually it never ever happened. As months passed I had completely forgotten about those graffitis. One day all those lost plans struck back in my head when we received a project where we had to map our surroundings. AND BOOM! I came up with the graffitis again. it was serious business this time; me and my teammates took everything it could take to trace the story behind this specific graffitis. After loads and loads of questioning and “stalking” we got the contact of the one who actually made those (turned to be a senior pass out) we got his number and spoke to him, He told that the graffitis he made around yelli was a project for his cycle to and the topic was “repetition” and he had chosen “emotions” as this way of showing repetition. He also said that the graffiti is his art style and his entire insta page had the same quirky fun style. Overall it was an amazing experience getting to know bout the art and the artist. 9
