BACKGROUNDParangtritis Coastal Geospatial Laboratory was built in 2002 by the Geospatial InformationAgency, Bantul Government and Faculty of Geography, Gadjah Mada University. CoastalGeospatial Laboratory has several roles such as a research and science center, educationaltourist attractions, community empowerment as well as a museum. On September 11th 2015, Coastal Geospatial Laboratory revitalized become ParangtritisGeomaritime Science Park. The revitalization Coastal Geospatial Laboratory driven byCoastal Geospatial Laboratory potency, National Technology Awakening Day momentum, and Jokowi’s Nawacita Program on development of science techno park in Indonesia.Parangtritis Geomaritime Science Park's vision is become the center of excellence forgeospatial information technology, education, research and innovation in coastal and marinein Indonesia. Commercialization of the collaborative research results will support sustainableeconomic growth in Indonesia, Yogyakarta and Bantul. The existence of ParangtritisGeomaritime Science Park can support the economical growth and society development intourism, agriculture, coastal and marine in Yogyakarta and Bantul. In other hand, ParangtritisGeomaritime Science Park serves as a center for the restoration of sand dunes and developsand dune museum. It is a place for the researcher to improve their knowledge about ofsand dunes.Cooperation in research, technology, education, training and socio-cultural with universityacross the country gives more value to the program that will be developed in ParangtritisGeomaritime Science Park. Cooperation with foreign institution would also be a positiveimpact on mutual relations between the countries in research, technology and culture.ROADMAP of PARANGTRITIS GEOMARITIME SCIENCE PARKRoadmap is a detailed plan that describes what must be done to achieve the goal. Roadmapof Parangtritis Geomaritime Scince Park (PGSP) period 2016-2020 is organized as afoundation to ensure the development of Parangtritis Geomaritime Scince Park. TheRoadmap preparation focused on the sectors that become a problem in Bantul. Hopefully,PGSP could be a prototype for other coastal areas in Indonesia. Some sectors were lifted on the Roadmap Parangtritis Geomaritime Scince Park is following. (1) educations (training and research); (2) marine and fisheries; (3) tourism; (4) agriculture; and (5) disastersParangtritis Geomaritime Science Park Roadmap is used for planning and developing in thefirst five-year period. Development in the next five years divided into three phases which areprepared with the theme of each of the stages. These stages are as follows: 1

1. Stage I Stage I, namely Parangtritis Geomaritime Science Park Strengthening Foundations was implemented in 2016-2017; the theme is Layar Terkembang. It is focused on strengthening the PGSP foundation. Stage I is also followed by setting up human resources, funding, equipment and supplies as well as institutions strengthening related to coastal and marine geospatial aspects. Stage I will be focused on the research results collection, products and replica products that have been produced by BIG, UGM, Bantul Government and the other agencies related to the coastal and marine geospatial aspects. 2. Stage II Stage II is referred to Accelerated Phase, carried out from 2018 to 2019. The theme in Stage II is Among Tani Dagang Layar. The main focus of Stage II is to build an innovation ecosystem and dissemination (downstream) and coastal marine technology. As the center of coastal and marine geospatial technology, Stage II support five sectors: (1) education (training and research); (2) marine and fisheries; (3) tourism; (4) agriculture; and (5) disasters. 3. Stage III Stage III is Strengthening the Role of PGSP, carried out in 2019-2020. The theme is Segoro Amantul which stands for the (spirit of cooperation to build Bantul). Stage III is expected to be a contribution to the advancement of Bantul as a homebase of Parangtritis Geomaritime Science Park.General overview PGSP development stages can be seen in Table 1.Table 1. CONCLUSIONTechnological developments occur so rapidly in the western world these days.President Jokowi develop science techno park to offset the technological advances inwestern countriesYogyakarta is famous as a town with high educational system in Indonesia.Unfortunately, the special interest tourism (SIT) that leads to the education side is stilllacking in Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta, till now, has a huge potential in tourism sectors.Millions of tourists from domestic and abroad visit Yogyakarta annually. In addition tothe tourism sector, Yogyakarta also has potential in agriculture, marine and fisheriesthat can be developed to improve the life quality in Yogyakarta.Bantul District is located in Yogyakarta Special Province (DIY). It has the potential insome sectors that can be developed into a science park because it has a huge resource.Tourist traffic in Bantul in 2012 and in 2013 reached two million visitors. A longcoastline and low dense of settlements is also an opportunity for coastal development.Resource in Bantul that can be developed into a Science Park is the Parangtritis CoastalGeospatial Laboratory (LGPP). Geospatial Laboratory proposed to be ParangtritisGeomaritime Science Park because it has advantages in the field of research, information and maritime technology applications. Geospatial Laboratory is located inthe south of Yogyakarta. It is the \"front porch\" economic backbone and modernagribusiness sector with the idea of \"Among Tani Dagang Layar\". GeospatialLaboratory is also located at the geoheritage sand dune that make GeospatialLaboratory has superior research object and also appropriate for the development oftechnology for fishing communities and farmers.Parangtritis Geomaritime Science Park has a vision as a center of excellence forgeospatial information technology, education, research and innovation in the field ofcoastal and marine in Indonesia. The revitalization efforts also enable the integratedresearch commercialization in Bantul, Yogyakarta and Indonesia. Commercializationefforts of the research results are expected to improve economy quality at the local, national, regional and global.Parangtritis Geomaritime Science Park existence could become embryo of economicalgrowth and society development in the tourism, agriculture, coastal and marine field.Parangtritis Geomaritime Science Park will also serve as a center for the restorationand conservation of sand dunes and sand dunes museum development. 14
