MISS TOURISM INTERNATIONAL 2020/21 Maria Carolina Balicki Vinharski (BRAZIL) The year 2021 was very important in my life, becoming Miss Tourism International changed in many aspects my way of seeing the world and people. Traveling around my country, seeing new places, and venturing out, doing things I never imagined I would do in my life, it was just amazing. Representing my country and my people, while miss international tourism, was extremely gratifying, I could change my way of seeing people, each person was a story, each place became a universe, because traveling is no longer just an event, I always thought of sharing with people, each experience, each sensation and each story. I got to know better my state, Paraná, my city, Prudentópolis, land of giant waterfalls, the largest Ukrainian colony in the country, Ponta Grossa, rich in natural beauty. Rio Grande do Sul, the city of machadinho, a paradise of thermal waters, Blumenau, a welcoming and very welcoming people, Balneário Camboriú with its stunning architecture and luxurious skyscrapers, São Paulo, the city that never sleeps, a cultural explosion. Ouro Preto, world heritage, full of history, and Belo Horizonte and Espirito Santo. These were amazing places I went through. My reign comes to an end, full of longing, but full of gratitude for all I’ve lived. I hope in the near future to visit Malaysia, a country that I learned to admire. 26 MISS TOURISM INTERNATIONAL 2020/21
