Gearing up to the auspicious month of August, travelers to Sarawak will also enjoy the festivities of the Rainforest World Music Event, Malaysia’s National Day and Sarawak Regatta, a paddling challenge on the Kuching Waterfront. Just as exciting are the landmarks and cultural sites the delegates will visit later in November, planned meticulously by the organizing team. There’s always more to discover, in Sarawak!

Dear National Directors, President’s Message delegates, and readers, Another 3 months more to the World Final, how time flies! With the countdown, I’m sure the delegates are excitedly preparing for their trip to Sarawak, and the opportunity of a lifetime to be on the Miss Tourism International stage. It is a huge duty, representing one’s country, but I’m sure the ladies will do well in this highly anticipated Tourism pageant. Leading up to the World Final, they will also visit numerous places in Sarawak. We’ve arranged a special surprise, these ladies will get to see the largest flower in the world - the rafflesia. A collection of delegates’ photos with Cats Around the World, for the photography contest! Also, from 18th to 20th November, the CatsFespo - local cats festival and expo - will be held at Farley Mall, Kuching, the renowned “City of Cats”. Enticing more visitors to visit the state.
