April 29 is Moscow UMC’s Youth Sunday “I Can Only Imagine” also…#PRAYFORWARD Young People's MinistriesWho: All United Methodist young people across the world.What: A 10-minute time of prayer for our Bishops as they consider a wayforward.When: April 29th at Noon your local time.Where: Everywhere.Why: Young People across the connection care about the future of our church,but more importantly believe in the power of God and the effect that prayer has.Therefore, we are calling young people to join together in this time of prayer andstanding in solidarity with our Bishops.Ideas for Ways to ParticipatePray after church - Pray with your youth group as you share in a meal together.Pray in silence - Pray after reading scripture.Pray for your bishop, for bishops in your jurisdiction/central conference, for bishops around the world.Pray one by one - Pray all with one voice.Pray during the church service and invite the rest of the congregation to join in!Pray at your college ministry - Pray at your conference office.Pray before you engage in a time of fellowship or after a time of fellowship.Whatever way you decide to pray - your prayers are appreciated as we hold each otherand our denomination up in the upcoming weeks.

We’re Looking for Shoes! New and gently used footwear (pairs only) are being collected at Moscow UMC for Mission Central, our Susquehanna Conference Mission Warehouse. Bring to church – collection ends Sunday, May 27, 2018Also the Scranton Wilkes-Barre District is planning a Work Week at SkyLake Camp: Arrive anytime in the P.M. on Sunday, May 13 and departingon Friday, May 18. Lodging and meals will be provided. The cost is $125 forthe week or $25 per day. We will be working on the floor of the West Shorekitchen (main project) & possibly a dock, some painting & small work items.Those wishing to attend for just a day, start time is 8:00 and join us forbreakfast. The breakfast will be light, cereals etc., sandwich for lunch and acooked supper. The charge is for the meals and a little donation for supplies.
