A Message from the Moscow United Methodist Church Auditors:Did you know that our church audit tracks the financial health of 19separate accounts? 19! WOW! That’s a lot of checkbookbalancing, statement reconciling and receipt keeping. The audit is conducted annually and submitted to the pastor, theadministrative board and conference. It doesn’t just happen….many people in our congregation are charged with keeping thefinancial records for their particular programs in our church. Theywork diligently throughout the year to be able to provide accurateinformation for the audit. We thank them for their dedication.Accurate record keeping is the key to a smooth audit. Each year it isimportant to provide all the necessary account reports, bank recordsand receipts to provide a clear paper trail of our church income andexpenses.Once again, a big THANK YOU to all of our church treasurers andvolunteers who help to make each year’s audit a smooth ride!If you have any questions about the audit, feel free to contact CarolVerrone, [email protected] also to our MUMC auditors, Carol Verrone and David Hess, for this message and their fine work as our church auditors!
