Wise Words Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say, rejoice! …Beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is ANY excellence and if there is ANY thing worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:4, 8-11 (New Revised Standard Version) The Legend of the Two WolvesOne evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battlethat goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle isbetween the two wolves inside us all. One is Evil – It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. Theother is Good – It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassionand faith.” The grandson thought about his grandfather’s wordsfor a minute and then asked his grandfather: ”Which wolf wins?”The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
