CHRISTMAS Christmas is a festival that is celebrated to mark the occasion of the birth of Jesus on the 25th of December. In the cold winters of the Northern Hemisphere, Christmas brings forth the warmth of festivities. Christmas is a festival of celebration, sympathy and cheer. It commemorates the birth of Jesus who had a heart of gold, believed in work in worship and even sacrificed his life for the well-being of people. He was born in Bethhellum. According to the Bible, Jesus was the man of no peace but was a role model for every man. People celebrate it by decorating Christmas trees, decorating their home with bells, reindeer, candles, candy canes, garland, stockings, wreaths, snow globes, and angels. When I talk about Christmas, the vision I have in my mind is to spend time at home with the ones we love, watch movies, cook a great meal together with my family, and enjoy eating it and being surrounded by twinkling lights. But in this fun and frolic, we forget about the ones who are less fortunate than us.

Let’s take a pledge: We all would be Santa Claus for the needy and give gifts to them as small as a blanket, warm food. It would make them happy more they can even imagine. Merry Christmas to Everyone Aadit Singla VI-C

This picture depicts how we stress ourselves too much! Every day we often take up difficult paths which cause confusion, stress and mental health problems. However we must understand that taking the simple easy path is perfecly okay. In fact it is the best option. Thus we should stop worrying about future ,pondering over unnecessary things , making people happy when we don’t like them, etc and live the present . Ultimately it is the present which is the real life! PRISHA KOSHAL VIII C This picture depicts the importance of choice. The people who took the path on the left which seemed easier at first will regret their decision later on when the person on the right who worked hard at first gets through the path easily. This picture represents how we should always think twice before making a choice and be ready to work hard for what we want. TULIP PRAKASH VIII C

'People tend not to do any work, instead they want to be in their comfort level. They are unaware that if they do a bit of hard work in the beginning their rest of the journey will be very easy and relaxing. They like it when someone else does the thing for them and gives it to them once it's up to go but they don't know how perplexing it's going to be because they have no experience, and have faced no failures. And if one person goes through the unchallenging way, (which they THINK is) everyone else follows him like a mob mentality and if one person tends to take the risk, try to clear the way, to be specific in view of the image, break the wall, no one is underpinning him instead they would ask him to join the mob. If this person breaks the wall, he'll move way more briskly than the others. So, the bottom line is one should not look for shortcuts as it's of no good and learn to take a bit of pain if they are looking for results, which I believe everyone does.' YASHITA NAGAR VI-C What often appears to be the easy path can be the most difficult. Stop trying to skip the struggle nobody whoever gave it their best, ever regretted it. My Angel I know an angel, she is different from all other, When I started speaking, I called her ‘mother’. Day or night, she works very hard. I pay her gratitude by giving her a card. The Sound of Thunder When I heard the sound of thunder, My heart started pumping shudder-shudder. It sounded like the ghost is singing in my ear, I hid into my blanket to avoid that fear. Suddenly! The rain started falling from the sky, Drops were entering in my room, the speed of the rain was that much high. I removed my blanket and went near to my window, What I saw was a colorful rainbow! Slowly and slowly, I took my hand out, The touch of droplets felt me clout. Then I snooped my head outside, Fragrance of damp clay and blossom flower were beautified. Thereafter, my heart stopped shuddering, And now, I am not afraid of thundering. Mannat Valecha III-H

In fact when I have extra money and gift, I won’t just use them unnecessarily, I would donate them. Shubhangi Ray IV-E
