Adding some basic textGreetings and salutations (Lets change the text size to heading 3)This is our first page together how exciting! There is much to be done. Websites do not makethemselves. Adding pictures to your pageAt the bottom of your page is where you can add images and edit theirdescriptions. If it is a picture of person or people, release forms mustbe on file with the Digital and design services. You must also have fullrights to the picture you are uploading.

Adding files• By default any files added to the page will be listed at the bottom and will be clickable• Linking them else ware in the document can be done, but you will not want to have the listing at the bottom of your page. • Types of files you can upload • PDF • Google Doc

Publish• Initially selected, where you do all of your editing and publishing.

Structure Here you can change some structure items that could be necessary for page. The main one we will talk about is the Template You can choose from a group of templates That could fit your pages needs. You don’t have to edit this, it is set up to Initially be a Single Column layout.

Hiding from navigationBe default this is set to “No”

RevisionsEvery time you hit the “Save Revision” or “Submit” buttons it stores a past version in here. Useful if someone accidentallychanges something and you have an old version that is good.

Okay… I have content I want to put on thewebsite.• How is it organized? • Do you have things grouped by content? • Are things just on a page? • What form does my content currently exist as? • Is everything I want in folders? • Do I have permissions to post the materials I have? • Is anything I’m going to post formatted correctly?

Managing your content• Have content created (We will talk about this eventually)• Create new page• Add/Edit content of that page• Choose layout (if different than usual) • Single column • Single column with navigation • Single column with parent navigation • Two column• Add images• Add files• Publish• Revising (wash, rinse, repeat)
