Going back to school after summer vacation is great because in summer vacation you don’t see all your friends either they were out of town or you had gone somewhere. You get to see all your friends again on the first day and you get to see all your old teachers. All the teachers were anxiously waiting for the kids after the summer vacations. The habits that form during the vacation tend to linger on even after the vacations get over. For instance, getting up late in the morning or doing whatever the heart wants..........but these habits need to change once it’s time for school. As school resumed the kids started to readjust with school life and soon were back to the world of curiosity, learning and knowledge. BACK TO SCHOOL

Rain Dance Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…it’s learning to dance in the rain. Since it was a bright sunny day children were curious as to where the rain would come from since there were no clouds. They were wondering if this event would even take place. Magically, the teachers had made arrangements for artificial rain drops so that students can enjoy. All the teachers and students of KG danced hand-in-hand.......together.

ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION “Let’s nurture the nature, so that we can have a better future” Environment is all that determines our lives on this earth. World environment day is celebrated on 5th June every year, as declared by UN General Assembly in 1972. The main aim of observing this day is to change the attitude towards environment and advocate partnership among humans, environment and human society to ensure a safe future. The Pre-Primary children observed Environment Day by not only adoring the school building with all Green decorative items, but also by spreading the message through various slogans concerning Environment. To ensure a better understanding ofmother nature, the tiny tots went to the school playground to feel nature and experience the vibrance by being amidst the greeneries of the park

To celebrate & relish the taste of the king of fruits and their favourite fruit, mango , the children of KG celebrated “MANGO WEEK”. Itwas celebrated from 9th July through 13th July. For making it special they presented an assembly. All the students wore beautiful paper cut-outs of mango and also sang mango song” MMMM ….Mango Yummy Tasty Mango”.An activity was given to them to do in which all the students painted anoutline of mango with cotton balls. The day ended with watching mango theme based videos.Various activities were planned for the whole week like tear and paste the cut-outs of mango, making collage of mango, tasting mango slices and mango drinks. In GDGPS students engage in active & deep learning and do not passively take in information from instructions. They identify, think, write, read, etc. To make each student an active player in the learning process, an environment must be created in which there are opportunities for students to do tasks. Here teachers emphasize on teaching through activities in which the students participate rigorously& bring about efficient learning experience. Teachers use all available resources to implement exploratory, constructive & expressional activities. What’s happening in the classroom
