SPORTS DAY The kids of KG got a chance to explore their gross motor skills through a series of competitions organized for them in the form of sports day on 27th November. They took part in fun filled races like jalebi race, shuttle run etc. All the kids put in their best of their efforts during the events. Such was their enthusiasm that the sunny day and the weather did not deter them. Even the speciation kept the heat on with the classmates cheering for the participants. The entire program was a great learning experience for the children and it was a great way for the teachers to assess them for their skills.

CHILDREN’S DAY-POOL BASH GDGPSP organized a pool bash for the students on November 14, 2019. Water play activities in young children strengthens motor skills, builds balance and the ability to propel and navigate. Coordination is also sharpened. The children turned up in colorful swim suits and whilst most had great fun playing in the water, they also spent time playing various other activities outside the pool area. Children enjoyed the cool pool under the guidance of their teachers. They enjoyed the music and had a mind-blowing time at the snack booth, especially created for them. The children thoroughly enjoyed the splash pool activity, jumping in the water and splashing water at their friends.

What’s Happening In The Classroom In GDGPS students are engaged in active & deep learning and are not passively taking in information from instructions. They are identifying, thinking, writing, reading etc. To make each student an active player in KG DOLL HOUSElearning process, an environment must be created in which there are opportunities for students to do tasks. Here teachers are emphasizing on teaching through activities in which the students participate rigorously & bring about efficient learning experience. It gives reality for learning teachers use all available resources to implement exploratory, constructive & expressional activities. Whats happening in the Classroom

“Innovation is important for growth” Innovations mean creating new ideas. Something that has never been made before or the process of creating something that has never been made before. Little students at GDGPS make innovations according to what has been taught in class and to look at the topic from a different point of view. This makes them more confident about what they know. INNOVATIONS By little hands

SENTENCE OF THE DAY DURING CIRCLE TIME Circle time is a great way for our KG kids to get a sense of community with other kids of their age & enhance their skills and improve their attention span. At GDGPS, KG kids start each day with circle time. It helps the children learn how to form a sentence as they are made to say a sentence each day during circle time. Eg: There are seven continents in the world. Pakistan is the neighbor country of India. The capital of Pakistan is Islamabad. Japan is known as the land of Rising Sun. Unity is the essence of a group’s Happiness. We should always remember unity is strength. Unity is very important for any team.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLIES An assembly is a gathering where all the KG students come together every morning. Assembly starts with the morning prayer followed by theme song. Then the students stand in pledge position for the Indian pledge. After the formal part, we move to the speech where the kids speak 3-4 lines on anything they has been prepared and then the GK Question is asked. Then all students sing a rhyme together and then a phonic song in the end.

STAR STUDENT OF THE MONTH Hands on learning is what we practice at GDGPS Purnea. You would find our kids a lot energetic during sessions in class, and their minds never stop learning. They learnt and excelled in all arenas and thus were awarded” STAR STUDENT OF THE MONTH”. LKG STAR STUDENT- UKG STAR STUDENT-

Parents Voice The thing I love the most about GDGPS Kindergarten is my daughters has learned at an early age .They look forward to going to school each day. Finally being a kindergartner, my elder daughter is able to mentor the younger daughter which makes her feel very good about herself. My children arealways excited to go to school every day. GDGPS Kindergarten provided them an opportunity to complete the Montessori cycle of “learn- do-teach.” The year increased her self-esteem and confidence. My children were given the opportunity to excel. Thank you so much to both the class teachers for being such a good mentor to my kids. Priyanka Chauhan Mother of Aarna Singh (UKG)
