Innovation means to improve or to replace something, for example, a process, a product, or a service. It also enhances and develops the creative side of our students. Our little Goenkans were asked to make a snow man on 2nd December and a Christmas cap on 4th December as the activity of their innovation week. No wonder, their creative side was revealed and they made beautiful snow man and Christmas caps. They participated will full zest and enthusiasm. It also boosted their confidence and personal development skills. INNOVATION WEEK

The students enthusiastically participated in the carol week. It was enjoyed thoroughly by them.
CHRISTMAS ASSEMBLY Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and family and to create memories that will last forever. It is also the time of wrapping up of gifts for the near and dear ones and spreading happiness all around. FREEZING FOG WINTER CAMP The first and obvious benefit of a virtual winter camp during this pandemic is that the kids can spend their day being physically active. Another fantastic benefit of keeping them busy is the self-confidence boost that they get from working, interacting, and playing with teachers and other students. Keeping these benefits in mind, Our School, GDGPS organised a virtual winter camp for KG to grade 9 from 22nd December to 24th December. The camp began with a virtual bonfire on 22nd December followed by numerous exciting activities on 23rd and 24th December on MS Teams platform. All the grades were categorized in different groups- KG (Freezing Fog), grade 1 to 3 (Jolly Holly snowflakes), grade 4 to 6 (Frosty flakes) and grade 7 to 9 (Santa Sleighs’).
FREEZING FOG WINTER CAMP On 23rd December, our KG kids started their day with feeding birds followed by breakfast, school assembly and different activities like sock toss game, snow mountain craft and Christmas tree decoration. There were other unique and thrilling activities planned for the last day of winter camp that is, 24th December, like watering plants as a part of their morning chores followed by breakfast, school assembly and different fun activities like blind fold game, hot chocolate and apple pie baking, Dress like Santa, Decoration for Hot chocolate and apple pie party. Last but not the least, the main attraction of 24th December was the Hot chocolate and apple pie party which was thoroughly enjoyed and loved by our tiny tots.
FREEZING FOG WINTER CAMP The students of grade 1 to 9 had an energetic start with Aerobics and Zumba. They were also engaged in different activities like leaf painting, tie & die, chef time, carol singing, Christmas tree decoration etc. It gave students the opportunity to have fun from the safety and comfort of home. Our campers experienced and performed a wide range of activities that were delivered in a fun and responsive environment that encouraged them to learn with curiosity. They also had the opportunity to socialize, play games and share their ideas in a fun and cheerful environment. While winter camp may simply seem like a quintessential winter pastime for kids they can sometimes be very rewarding in terms of personal development skills that can help them in the classroom, in their relationships and in whatever they choose.

PARENT TESTIMONIAL Today I want to share my views regarding online classes. The Covid-19 pandemic has triggered new ways of learning. All around the world, the concept of education has transferred to \"online mode\". I appreciate the management, teachers and faculty members of GDGPS, Purnea for putting their efforts into online classes as they are making PDF, VIDEOS and AUDIOS of chapters and enquiring about each and every student. I personally feel that every student has a different learning style i.e some students are visual learners, some prefer to learn through audios and some students are solo learners. I appreciate this initiative that has been taken at this period of lockdown. I would like to thank all the faculty members of GDGPS, Purnea for giving the students this opportunity to learn and acquire knowledge. Thank you so much once again. Thank you, Gitanjali Pandit, Mother of Kripali Patra UKG
STUDENT TESTIMONIAL The online classes were new for teachers as well as for students. However, the teachers gave their best and made it so easy and interesting for us that a part of me hates the fact that one day it will come to an end. Yes, of course there were some issues during the classes but my teachers helped me through that too. The network issues were probably the only problem. But we got through that also. The classes kept us engaged. The classes were very important and I am glad that I was a part of it. We had numerous fun learning activities which kept the learning interesting. Kudos! Upanya Prachi Class 6 A
PARENT TESTIMONIAL Online classes are not a choice but a compulsion during the covid-19 pandemic. Of course, it is a new modality both for teachers as well as for students. But teachers gave their best with profound labour, took care of each and every student, conversations were more or less clear. Students remained enthusiastic and vibrant throughout the classes. Congratulations to the entire GD Goenka team. Thank you, Dr. PK Agarwal Father of Upanya Prachi
