Site has dense forest cover of Gureghar reserved forest on north, east and south sides whereas sparse vegetation cover is on the west side.

North- West Side Elevation of the Visitor’s Center Belfast roof truss used has top and bottom chords connected by diagonal internal member. This truss allows bird to make their nesting areas inside the parts of the roof without disturbing human activities happening below it. Nesting trays designed can be pulled out for cleaning purpose whenever required. 02 Integrated Township Location : Vaje, Panvel, Maharashtra, India Site area: 27.27 acre The site is located on the fringes of Panvel. The idea is to develop a design solution for housing scheme along with necessary infrastructure, services and amenities. Predominantly designing for higher middle income group, higher income group and also providing housing solution for economically weaker section. Providing high density mass housing and high rise structures. This project includes the study and implementation of DC rules and building by-laws. Also understanding benchmark experiments of a dwelling for users of different social, cultural and economical backgrounds and surpass them. Understanding technical aspects in terms of structural systems, building services and connectivity. 11 Undergraduate Portfolio 2015-2020

Concept Development Two major axes divide the site into four o b parts. Yellow axis separates highrises from f 13 Undergraduate lowrises thus providing privacy to n Portfolio 2015-2020 bungalows and twin bungalows which also n have scenic views. Red axis further divides highrises and lowrises into sub categories of typologies. g g f e a g c g d m

d The typologies of the highrises are designed j based on the income group category, which will benefit each of them. All the buildings are designed so as to cater basic needs of every category. Recreational grounds provided holds major activities like playground, parks, jogging tracks, etc. Several small green pockets in between the buildings rejuvenate the gated community.
