It has a total area of 1,141,748 km2, making it the subcontinent’s fourth largest and second most populous country (48.3 million people). With a GDP of USD 321.5 billion (2019), Colombia is the fourth largest economy in Latin America, after Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. Adicionalmente, se ha evidenciado la existencia de potenciales minerales para la exploración y explotación de uranio en varias zonas del país.
