GLIMPSES OF THE SUMMER CAMP



Summer time is pool time.... To beat the heat and cool off, Euroschool Wakad, ICSE organized a pool bash for tiny tots of kindergarten. The poolside was abundantly decorated with balloons, balls and umbrellas. The pool bash was a day full of joy and excitement for the young ones. Children were thrilled to be in the pool .The day was spiced up with lots of fun when the tiny tots were dressed up in their colourful swimming costumes for the pool party. The highlight of the party was the rain dance, where each sprinkler sprayed streams of cool water offering endless fun for the kids as they tried to catch and dodge the spray. Refreshing drinks to sip in the cool pool and music to make the mood, were relished by all our little Euroites.



‘The best part of memories is making them.’ The Higher Secondary students of EuroSchool Wakad, ICSE did just that- made beautiful, indelible memories at their Outbound Enrichment Programme on 20th April 2023. Bursting with excitement and joy, the students spent an entire day at Magic Mountain, an amusement park in Lonavala. A day filled with unlimited fun, adventure and thrill. They availed of various rides, ate delicious meals and spent invaluable time with their friends, storing these precious moments in their mind’s eye forever.

GRO BAZAAR The World Environment week aims to raise awareness of the value of the resources on our planet and the need to protect them. It is strongly believed that a healthy environment is crucial for the existence of life on earth and with the same thought, the students of Grade 2 and 3 at EuroSchool Wakad, ICSE enthusiastically participated in a fun filled activity “Euro Agro Bazaar”. Our little ones were dressed up as vegetable vendors and had a real life experience of selling the vegetables. Parents enthusiastically participated as customers and encouraged our little Eurostars. The objective of the activity was to enhance the communication skills, empower with basic mathematical calculations and develop a deeper understanding of the environment.

26th June ,2023 was the most awaited day of our little ones at EuroSchool,Wakad ICSE. A day filled with excitement ,laughter ,fun, exploration and learning - “the school trip day to Amazeum Children’s Museum Our little ones reached school with their eyes sparkling in enthusiasm and face beaming with their cute smiles . They boarded the bus with their teachers, giggling and blushing with excitement.The bus ride to the Amazeum became fun with singing songs and having food en route. Once they reached the destination, our little ones entered agape in wonder and being with friends was like a cherry on top of the cake . The Amazeum Museum had lots of creative play areas , science exhibits, role play counter and plenty of physical activities too which encouraged children to move , explore and learn ,while having fun at the same time. Children enjoyed the scrumptious snacks. Finally it was time to leave, our little ones bid goodbye to Amazeum with lots of stories and memories to share with their loved one.

TRIP TO MAULI AGRO FARM We at EuroSchool, Wakad ICSE believe that Picnic or spending time outdoors, basking in nature –the pure air invigorates kids and leaves them feeling rejuvenated. There is something great about fresh air and sunshine that just puts kids in a good mood and motivates them to get some exercise. Monday, 20th of June 2023 was a fun day for the students of Grade 1 at - MAULI AGRO FARM. The children arrived full of eagerness, ready enjoy a day filled with excitement and non-stop activity. As soon as they reached the Agro Farm , they were welcomed by the team of organizers. They were ushered in for a sumptuous breakfast, which came as a welcome energizer for the students. The fun activities included Trampoline, Fish feeding and nature walk, tattoo and the highlight of the trip...a tractor and a mini train ride. Exhausted after the flurry of activities, they were taken for a yummy lunch, which was followed by an exciting dance session. The highlight of the day was a Magic Show, which mesmerized the children with fascinating and enchanting tricks.

TRIP TO SHANTIVAN We at EuroSchool, Wakad ICSE believe that picnic or spending time outdoors, basking in nature –the pure air invigorates kids and leaves them feeling rejuvenated. On 23rd June our Grade 2 students went on a thrilling field trip to the beautiful Shantivan resort. It was a highly anticipated event that had the children buzzing with excitement. Upon arrival to the resort, the organisers ushered in the students for a sumptuous breakfast, which came as a welcome energizer. The organisers had arranged a variety of outdoor activities for the students to enjoy. From swings and slides to a trampoline and a mini zip line, there was something for everyone. The joy and laughter of the students filled the air as they ran, jumped, and played to their heart’s content. The highlight of the day was a Magic Show, which mesmerized the children with fascinating and enchanting tricks.The field trip was not only educational but also offered a much-needed break from the daily routine of school life.

TRIP TO ARYAN “In every walk with nature, one receives far more ADVENTURE PARK than he seeks.” Friday, 23rd of June 2023 was a fun day for the students of Grade 3 at - Aryan’s adventure park. As soon as they reached the adventure park, they were welcomed by the team of organizers. They were ushered in for a sumptuous breakfast, which came as a welcome energizer for the students. Fully replenished, they plunged headlong into the activities that were planned for them. Our little ones had a real-life experience of watching some unique birds, experiencing the nature. The students also enjoyed the adventure activities like, Trampoline, Mickey Mouse jumper, ball room. Students also enjoyed visiting the fruit garden, spice garden and fish feeding. Students had fun in getting their hands tattooed. Overall, the field trip to Aryan’s adventure park was an incredible experience for the third-grade students. It combined learning, adventure, and fun in a perfect blend, leaving a lasting impact on the young minds.

World Environment Day is celebrated on 5 June every year and encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. EuroSchool, Wakad ICSE organised a cleanliness drive(Grade VIII TO XII). The campaign focused on creating awareness about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and encouraging students to take responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean.



oga is a mirror to look at ourselves from within.’ International Yoga Day, which is observed every year on 21st June, is a remarkable occasion that promotes the significance of yoga in our lives. Our school came together to celebrate International Yoga Day as well. Led by trained students and sports teachers the students, teachers and staff gathered in the stilt area to practise some soothing yoga asanas and meditation, recognising its various benefits. This event helped the students, and the teachers to embrace yoga and its positive effect on their physical, social and mental well-being.

World Music Day, also known as Fête de la Musique, is a globally recognized event celebrated on June 21st each year.The school campus was transformed into a lively and colorful music haven, with the atmosphere resonating with excitement. Our school band, The Velvet Concord, showcased their incredible skills to the whole school. The instruments and the vocals fused together and created a melodious tune. The event not only brought the school community closer & left a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of students, inspiring them to appreciate the transformative nature of music in our lives.

BOOK DONATION MERCURY HOUSE DRIVE ‘Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader’ This month, the students of Mercury house came up with the unique idea of collecting old books from all the students of grades VI to XII. Our dedicated Mercurians went from class to class asking students to donate as many books as they could.They received all kinds of works of fantasy, science fiction, thriller, drama and many more. The plan is to distribute all the books back, but each student will get to pick a random book of their choice.This drive has been organized with the motive that students will get to read new and unique works of literature and find new likings. After a long two weeks of hard and dedicated efforts, the Book-Drive has begun! Classes are being called to select one book of their choice as a part of the book drive, taking home with them new adventures to experience.

Our little ones at EuroSchool ,Wakad ICSE - Pre-primary had a blast on Yummy Yellow Day at school. Children came in looking like beautiful sunflowers in their bright yellow dress. Teachers welcomed their little buds with a fun mask which brought a spark of excitement in children. They later took part in a fun magic experiment that awestruck them.Their happiness had no bounds as they enjoyed the “Winnie the pooh” movie with their classmates.Children flaunted their dress for some awesome pictures and created masterpieces making a cute little honey bee craft for themselves before returning back to their own beehive in search of yummy honey.



MINDFUL PARENTING WORKSHOP Parents are considered as equal partners in the education of their children, with this in mind the Centre of Wellbeing professionals of ES Wakad ICSE conducted a mindful parenting workshop on the 24th of June 2023. The workshop was specially designed for the Parents of students currently in grade 9th and was attended by approximately 40 parents and guardians. We started the workshop with a 10 minute relaxation exercise and proceeded further with understanding different Parenting styles, the development pattern of adolescents, understanding adolescent behavior and managing the behavior in order to prepare the children for their future challenges. The session also included some fun quiz time to help parents know more about the adolescent world. The 2 hour workshop ended with a Q&A session.

Monsoon Bollywood Party was organised by the Admin team for the teachers on 8th July. Teachers let their hair down and had a blast! Fun Quizzes Fashion show- Teachers walked down the red carpet looking like divas!

IHC GRADE V ORATORY World Health Day is a global health awareness day, celebrated every year on 7 th April. In order to commemorate this day, the school, organized an oratory competition. The theme for the competition was ‘Healthy mind in a healthy body’. The students participated with lot of zeal and enthusiasm. They displayed posters and spoke on health and fitness. The objective to spread awareness about quality living and importance of health was attained through this competition.
