The printing Press has liberated the minds of readers, enlightened the souls of researchers, and awoken the thoughts of the fast asleep civilians. Different features and skin tone.I felt the sudden urge to paint. I quite enjoyed art, its different forms and its ability to capture words - spoken or hidden. I most especially enjoyed the splash of colors on a canvas and the graceful movement of a brush on a canvas. I was an artist of some sort - just not a great one. I couldn’t paint my words. I could paint stories about people. Stroke after stroke, paint after paint, it was thrilling. Getting a colour or two, an image here and there and then a full painting. Many paintings, canvases filled and glistening. Stories like I see a grandma on a wheelchair - I paint just a tiny bit of her story where she must have lived a very fulfilled life before this. I paint her surrounded by grandkids, laughter and her children- a loving family. Oh and by the way, she happened to be white. I say happened, not because I didn’t notice her colour, but that didn’t define who she was as a human being. But the world isn’t as beautiful as that. Sorry, I mean the paintings in the world aren’t always as beautiful as that. It makes sense, in a world where people are stricken with poverty, in a world where in a blast a family is left without a home, in a world where people are seen as inferior based on their race and skin color. Some might argue that it’s 2023 and surely that’s not the case anymore. But then strokes, contours, lines and shadows are filled with prejudices dripping with racism - unfounded biases. Therefore, creating and painting an ugly image and a jarring painting.

THE BOOK'S STRENGTH LIES IN MANSON'S CANDID AND IRREVERENT WRITING STYLE. HE COMBINES HUMOR, PERSONAL ANECDOTES, AND PROFANITY TO ENGAGE READERS IN A NO-NONSENSE CONVERSATION ABOUT LIFE'S INHERENT STRUGGLES. FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, MANSON DISPELS THE ILLUSION OF A PROBLEM-FREE EXISTENCE, URGING READERS TO FACE LIFE'S INEVITABLE DIFFICULTIES HEAD-ON. THE SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A F*CK IS AN ESSENTIAL GUIDE FOR THE YOUTH'S MINDS REGARDING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND A PSYCHOLOGICAL UNDERSTANDING OF REALITY. IT IS INEVITABLE THAT DURING OUR YOUTH, WE WILL OVERCONSUME WHAT IS NOT MEANT TO FEED OUR UNHEALTHY DESIRES AND FANTASIES. PERHAPS, WE WILL OVERCONSUME AND WORSEN OUR ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, AND LACK OF SELF- ACKNOWLEDGMENT UNCONSCIOUSLY AND THEN PROCEED TO BLAME IT ON THE UNREALISTIC STANDARDS OF SOCIETY. FORTUNATELY, I GOT THE CHANCE TO READ AND ANNOTATE THIS BOOK BY MARK MANSON THOROUGHLY, AN AMERICAN SELF-HELP AUTHOR AND BLOGGER.
