Look mum shouts Jill. The soil is moving. Mum picks up the soil. Then she lets the soil fall. ‘Look Jill!’ says mum. ‘It’s a worm’ ‘It moved the soil’ ‘Ugh!’ says Jill ‘I don’t like worms.
‘Worms are good for soil’ say Mum They turn in the soil. They let the seeds get air. ‘Is the worm sticky/ asks Jill ‘No’ says Mum. ‘Here you Hold it.’ Jill holds the worm. She puts it back in the soil. Do you work, little worm; says Jill And she waters the flower bed.
