INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION CAMP 2020 Thailand 2020 (Duration: 12 Days)



Submitted to: The President Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit Siam University, Thailand Attention: Dr. Kamal Uddin Director, Academic Collaboration Siam University, Thailand Submitted by: Dr. Nitin Kumar Tripathi Professor Director – Special Degree Programs School of Engineering and Technology, Asian Institute of Technology [email protected] Subject: INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION CAMP AND CAPACITY BUILDING Asian Institute of Technology will be glad to welcome group of students from your Institute for INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION CAMP 2020. Students can be from Engineering, Management and Bio-resources. Aim of the camp is to inspire and ignite the young students through state-of-the art seminars and hands on sessions in cutting edge technologies so that they may be innovative in finding the solutions to engineering and management issues. Course: INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION CAMP AND STUDY TOUR will be a combination of Engineering and Management courses along with field visits to industries and research institutes/centers in Thailand. List of courses: Innovative courses that will be showcased to students will be Computer Science, Information Systems, Packaging Technology, Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems, Global Positioning Systems and Navigation Systems, Low Cost housing, Information Management, Medical Informatics, Mechatronics, Nanotechnology, Microelectronics, Telecommunication, Marketing, Finance, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and more.

Cost: The cost of the training for two weeks per students is 20, 000 Thai Baht for minimum 20 students. This includes cost on refreshments/ tea/ coffee with breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions. This also includes overhead to be paid. This cost includes lectures/ demonstrations/ hands on session. The cost includes accommodation on twin sharing basis. Note: For every 20 students, cost of one resource person (faculty) is covered. Evaluation: Students are continuously evaluated, and they will present report of the camp groupwise to show the outcome of their learning.
