LITTLE CHEFS CLUB The Little Chefs Club is not only for adding ingredients for a recipe. It also ensures the importance of teaching children with proper etiquette at the mealtime. This will help them to be polite and respectful. This club aims to show the little chefs that presenting a meal is equally important as its preparation. The second session held on 22nd July ‘Dinning etiquette and Napkin folding’. Children were excited and enthusiastic to learn new techniques to napkin folding in the Rose shape. They wanted to learn more ways of folding napkins like butterfly, cone and pin wheel. Children also found the importance of table manners in the session.

GUITAR CLUB This session of the Guitar Club held on 22nd July began with the recap of the previous session after which the students shared how much they loved being a part of the Guitar Club. To learn about any musical instrument, the very first thing a child should learn is the parts of that instrument. In this session the students were apprised and explained about the parts of the guitar. They were given a detailed description of the functioning of each part. Going forward in the session the students displayed their artistic skills and drew a guitar. They were also taught about the names of the guitar strings in ascending and descending order. To memorise these names , two funny acrostic poems were told which created a lot of amusement among students. It was a fulfilled amazing music session with great learning.

HOME ECONOMICS CLUB In this session, the students learnt, what is grocery, where they get it and visited a virtual grocery store. They learnt that food items, that are perishable products, Dairy products, Kitchen essentials, Hygiene essentials, and last but not the least, Kids Favourite section – chocolates, juices, chips, biscuits etc. They named some of the supermarkets that were near their house, like Big Bazar, D Mart, Reliance Fresh, Star Bazaar etc. The most exciting section of the session was when they made a easy sweet dish with their favourite Oreo Biscuit, The Oreo Spin Wheel. All the participants and the mentors enthusiastically started off the session by separating the biscuit and the cream. They made two doughs. In this process we could see the a few excited participants tasting the doughs by licking it! These young chefs followed the recipe so well, just like a five star restaurant, pastry chefs and made almost perfect looking spin wheels. By the end of the session some of them couldn’t resist anymore and tasted their creation, which bought big, bright smiles on their faces which in turn made the clubs mentors smile with joy.
