I am recycling found objects combined with my usage of polymer clay. I am truly loving turning one man’s trash into my treasures! The 4Art Inc Gal- lery is where my work has found a wonderful new ‘home’ in the well known Zhou Bros. Art Center. JarredPfeiffer www.JarredPfeiffer.com I have been involved with clay my entire life and the only thing that rivals my love of ceramics is my passion for education. Throughout my experiences in teaching high school math, I realized I could cre- ate my artwork about math and science. This work is influenced by fractals which can be found in the world around us. Through my study of mathemat- ics, I have realized it’s universal. My work strives to create wonder by showcasing how a simple form can create something much larger. They are made of paper boxes could be analogized with the faces of modern people in that papers are collected, recycled and go through a repetitive cycle of death and rebirth in different forms just like mem- bers in a modern society. Especially, her masks are related to particular places in which she focuses on the ordinary lives of people living there. I was surprised, and I accepted it, letting it settle down and gain ground, but looking at it as a thing com- ing from abroad, questioning it as if it were an odd beast. It took me several years to make it mine. From now on photography belongs to me, as I succeed to exprime what I want to say. My pictures try to move the audience away from the reality, they bring rest in the mind to permit the escape towards dreams and thoughts, far away from any dictatorship of logic. With the series Contemporary Ruins, I want to ask the question of the finality of each system. Untempspourdeux, 150x100 cm, 2011224 Hidden Treasure Art Magazine Yearbook

AndyKing www.andykingart.co.uk Porcelain hunters I am a digital artist focusing primarily on the use of photo manipulation. My ideas can come to me from a variety of different sources, such as a short daydream to an unrelated conversation with someone or from just watching a TV show. In a lot of my work you will find traces of in- spiration from great artists such as Rob Gonsalves, M.C.Escher, Salvador Dali and John Pugh as well as from TV shows such as The Twilight Zone series, Supernatural, The Lost Room and even Dungeons and Dragons. I strive for there to be an emotional reaction within my work that may not always become apparent until the viewer learns the title of the piece. In some of my darker work I like the viewer to be a little uncomfortable without the piece being distasteful. Soul mates Are this couple three or twodimensional? IrinaDumitrascu [email protected] Zooming5, photography, 80x120 cm, 2013Looking to surrounding environment, this may induce us the well-known feeling of “déjà-vu”. Indeed, most of the people are happy withconventional sights and aspects of the world. Surrounding reality isactually not always as it looks like. One way to discover the hiddenaspects of the reality is intuitive: try to find out the secondary meaningof the staff. This might be labeled a philosophical way. The other way todisplay is to process the image to a scale that normal sight usually doesnot perceive. This is the way I photographed for my project. As a photographer, I strive tobe a mid-wife, to give birth to this beauty that arises in the tremblingmoment like an epiphany. I cannot really say how this happens. Myprocess rests upon faith that if I am receptive and open, the image willpresent itself as a gift. I look to record compositions that are complete, balanced, unified, and supported by compelling subject matter. I seekto convey a sense of transcendence, spirituality, and deep connectionwith the world.Wu We, digital photo, 25x19 inches, 2013 Hidden Treasure Art Magazine Yearbook 243

HenriSenders www.henrisenders.nl Sunday Morning in November photography 2010Dancingphotography2013 My photography is about meeting beautiful people, who often do not fit in or seem strange. It is about creating an atmosphere in witch people can flourish and explore, with me trying to capture something of their beauty, soul and quest. I am never looking for perfect bodies or perfect faces. It is the look in someone’s eyes that in- trigues me. All photos are results of improvi- sation and intuition. I choose a model and a location, depending on the weather, mood of the day, model-interaction and the settings, then the image is born. The editing afterwards is stripped to a bare minimum and only used to emphasize an atmosphere.246 Hidden Treasure Art Magazine Yearbook
