Mürren is a car free resort high above the Lauterbrunnen valley. The mountain village is located on a sunny terrace facing the majestic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Half way up to Mürren is Gimmelwald, a typical farming village in the mountains, authentic and proud of its traditions. Both villages can be reached from Lauterbrunnen by cable car and train or from Stechelberg by cable car. There are international train connections from all neighbouring countries to Interlaken Ost and Lauterbrunnen. Car drivers will find a covered car park in Lauterbrunnen and in Stechelberg a large car park.
