In other news, the company is still reinforcing the rules of hygienic practices to safeguard the health and safety of its employees. All facilities across Gulfex continue cleaning and disinfecting on a regular basis as well as conducting daily temperature checks. Furthermore, 3 disinfection gates have been installed in strategic locations around the premises of Gulfex 1. Two more will be installed at Gulfex 2 once travel restrictions are eased. Gulf Extrusions Page 2 Magazine CW60 with Openable Window Test Passing Gulf Extrusions is proud to announce the success of the performance testing of its Curtain Wall 60 with openable window. The testing was done in accordance to the project requirement of Burj Al Sahab, Al Mamzar, Sharjah along with Al Mawarid Metallic Industries. The testing was conducted by Al Futtaim Element Materials Technology Dubai (AFE). The sample passed: - The Air infiltration Tests - The Water penetration (static pressure) Tests - The Water penetration (dynamic pressure) Tests - The Wind resistance Tests

Gulf Extrusions Page 3 Magazine TB600 (Thermal Break Hinged Door) Test Passing Gulf Extrusions is proud to announce the success of the performance testing of its TB 600 (Thermal Break Hinged Door). The testing was done in accordance to the project requirement of Port De La Mer, Dubai along with Beaver Gulf and Unesia Aluminum Contracting Company. The testing was conducted by Al Futtaim Element Materials Technology Dubai (AFE). Tests passed: - The air infiltration Test - The static air pressure water penetration Test - The wind resistance - serviceability Test - The wind resistance - safety Test Gulf Extrusions would like to thank everyone who made this possible.

Gulf Extrusions Page 4 Magazine Three Disinefection Gates Installed Gulf Extrusions, has installed disinfection gates, which will disinfect all employees upon checking in, leaving and returning to their work stations. Three disinfection gates have been installed in Gulfex 1 in Dubai. Two will be installed in Gulfex 2 in Abu Dhabi once movement restrictions are lifted. One of the disinfection gates in Gulfex 1 is built in-house and the other two are from a local manufacturer. Both the Gulfex 2 gates that will be installed will be from a local manufacturer. The sanitization tunnels are used by HO employees, plant employees and visitors. They are installed in strategic locations: one is in the main entrance, the second is in front of Gate 2, and the last is in front of the staff accommodation. The disinfection and sanitisation gateways are very effective and practical. It takes only seconds to walk through and the disinfectant dries almost right away, ensuring that our employees will be protected from the bacteria and viruses.

Gulf Extrusions Page 5 Magazine COVID-19 Precautionary Measures Safety measures continue to be implemented to ensure the highest level of precaution and for the continuance of excellent business activities. Social distancing measures are in place and employees are wearing facemasks during their working hours. Meetings that have more than two people are being carried out virtually. Furthermore, the company makes sure that besides employees, all customers, visitors, drivers, and delivery messengers are being screened before entering the premises. Employees are further screened midday while at their stations. Gulfex also continues to carry out routine and careful cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment, and work areas. Social distancing continues to be respected and employees are encouraged to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds and regularly use sanitizers throughout the day. We hope you stay safe and we encourage you to eat as many fruits and vegetables as possible because they contain vitamins, minerals and compounds that can boost your immune system.
