Plant Design Limestone Milling – Plant Design Mineral Processor – Plant Design Perlite Processing – Modular Plant Design

PLANT SYSTEMS ENGINEERING PLANT DESIGN: LIMESTONE MILLING Project Requirements: In 2016, a Central PA Limestone processor secured a contract to provide finely milled limestone to be used as filler material in building products. Working with the client developed process flow diagrams, we provided detailed engineering and specifications for the bidding and construction of this project. Project Elements: o 66” and 73” Raymond Mills o (2) Pulverizing systems o (12) storage Silos o (4) Pneumatic Conveying Systems o Mill pedestals and foundation designs o 100’ square by 80’ tall building structure o (3) Dust Collection Systems o Interconnecting piping and ducting The Engineering Scope included development of foundations, structural, mechanical and electrical packages for the successful construction and operation of this $10M plant. PLANT SYSTEMS ENGINEERING PLANT DESIGN: MINERAL PROCESSOR Project Requirements: An upper mid-west mineral processor wanted to significantly upgrade its crushing and screening operations. Working with the client developed process flow, provide detailed engineering and specifications for the bidding and construction of this project. Project Elements: o Two crushing and screening towers o One Reclaim tunnel o Six belt conveyors o One rotary rock dryer o Three integrated dust collection systems Starting with a geo-technical survey we developed foundation, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering packages for the successful construction and operation of this $10M plant. The plant was designed using SolidWorks and AutoCad. Design review and pre-bid meetings were conducted with the 3-D SolidWorks model. THE PLANT SYSTEMS GROUP, INC. 507 N. PLANT SYSTEMS ENGINEERING MODULAR PLANT DESIGN: PERLITE PROCESSING Client: Incon Corporation, Chadds Ford, PA Project Location: New Orleans, LA Project Requirements: Working with the client developed process flow, provide modular design of Perlite Processing system using shipping container. Design included gas train piping, ducting design and 3D development of all project items in Inventor. System was pre-fabricated, assembled and tested in PA. Components where then tagged and loaded for shipping enabling quick on-site assembly and start-up.. Managed shop construction and system testing.
