MULTICON-W 2023 2023 - A platform for Multiple Conferences and Workshops Directorate of Higher Education is a state of ice functioning under the governance of the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra. Before 31/10/1984, Education at all levels in the State was managed by one Head of the Department called the Directorate of Education (DOE). Education plays a signi icant and remedial role in balancing the socio- economic fabric of the society & country. Since citizens of India are its most valuable resource, our billion-strong nation needs the nurture and care in the form of basic education to achieve & ensure a better quality of life. This warrants an all- round development of our citizens, which can be achieved by building strong foundations in education. The institute is managed by the Zagdu Singh Charitable Trust, Mumbai under Thakur Educational Group (TEG). The journey of MULTICON W stated with the First Edition of International Conference and Workshop on Emerging Technologies (ICWET) was organized in 2010 and continued till 2012. MULTICON-W is an initiative of Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET). This platform is created with the objective of inculcating the Research culture in the Higher and Technical Educational Institutes, where UG and PG programs are evaluated by the accrediting bodies like NBA and NAAC in which research contribution is the major parameter to evaluate the R&D activities. The Institute thus develops the research temperament and research paper writing skills of its stake holders through various platforms. Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) is an institute which believes in developing research acumen and research paper writing skills and provide multiple platforms to make it an integral part of the curriculum. Thus research ethics should also be taught to create an awareness among all its stake holders, which make an impact on the overall development of new projects. The conventional curriculum has a different expectation of assimilating the information and reproducing it in examination, whereas the developments in this new era require a multidisciplinary approach to meet the untapped requirements. Considering the consistent success of the event, Multicon-W 2023, the fourteenth event in a row will be organized on 24th & 25th February 2023. The event will comprise of five conferences and tow workshops with multiple tracks. Around 5000 participants and delegates are expected to attend the two days program. While, til date, conferences at TCET focused on research papers based on original research work and through the current conferences, we will diversify the scope to include papers based on experiential learning and organizational & professional practices.
