ABILITY IN ACTION Find out what's happening on campus and off THE ICE CREAM MAN Javon is making everyone's life a little sweeter at Leopold's Flagship Ice Cream Boutique on Broughton Street. Mary Leopold says, \"he elevates what we do here\" and we could not agree more. From the reviews to the managers, guests and coworkers all know, Javon is simply the best. ENRICHMENT EXCURSION We celebrated the first week of Spring at Lake Mayer. It was so much fun to fly our homemade kites, feed *all* of the birds, and enjoy the warm weather! Read all about it on the blog! employabilityga.org/blog WELCOME BACK, WILLIE This amazing man has been a part of the EmployAbility family for over 47 years: we are thrilled to have him back in the driver's seat, fully vaccinated. Ready to return to campus? Let Willie give you a ride! We can't wait to see you.

MEASURING SAFETY The Academy combined lessons about measuring and tornado safety in the Tornado Lab (aka the cafeteria)! Participants learned all about different types of measurements - from liquids to height & the Fujita scale - then discussed what types of jobs would require each skill. WE CAN DIG IT Participants and volunteers are enjoying the new garden beds as we learn how to prep, plant, grow, and beautify the gardens at EmployAbility. CONGRATULATIONS, ANTOINE! Big congrats to our newest Board Member - participant representative and style icon- Antoine! Antoine was voted to represent the group by the Employee Association, and we are so happy to have him on the board.

EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER Last week at EmployAbility, 14 catalytic converters were stolen from our fleet of transportation. 11 vans and 2 wheelchair busses were impacted, creating an urgent need for security in addition to our need to purchase and install the missing parts. Please donate what you can to help us get the vans back up and running! Visit our website or fill out and return the donation form included.
