From Editor’s Desk “Whether you are running a business, an industry, or a nation – what is needed are insight, integrity, and inspiration.” - Sadhguru What doesn’t challenge you is probably the thing that would never build you. As it’s well said, with a great number of adversities you shall thrive in the bask of success. We, humans, often in the race to win, forget that the process is equally essential and holds the utmost value to come forward with as much as a result. The blurred lines of quality and quantity have been crucial in deciding factors in the development of an individual and together of the nation. “Technology Integration for Nation Building” is a topic that isn’t only a theme for our Annual Magazine, but an ideology we all can relate to. It flourishes the fact that we, the budding technocrats of our nation, are working efficiently to make our nation so strong in the way that it shines immensely. The amalgamation of technology with the extensive development of our nation has been in motion for quite a while now. All the new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Automation, etc. have been profusely indulging and integrating themselves to fill up various gaps in industry and academia. I congratulate and wish everyone all the best, for the enriching efforts in the form of the 15th edition of “POORNIMAPANORAMA.” I dearly appreciate the efforts and hard work of the team. Annual Magazine 2021-22 Dr. Ritu Soryan (Editor-In-Chief) 1 Poornima Panorama (Issue-XV)
MESSAGE “The engineer has been, and is, a maker of history.” - James Kip Finch I am glad to learn that Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) is bringing out the 15th issue of its annual magazine, POORNIMA PANORAMA, with the theme \"Technology Integration for Nation Building.\" The PIET right since its inception in year 2007 has focused on ensuring the overall development of competences and capabilities of its students and grown into a unique institute of higher education with dynamic and outstanding faculty, innovative pedagogical practices, state-of-art infrastructure and variety of academic, extra and co-curricular activities. The modern world we live in wouldn't have been possible without the marvels of engineering - microprocessors, high-speed motors, cellular networks, power grids, automated assembly lines and many others. Engineering and engineers in India have been a force to reckon with, and rightly so. Professional engineers now also require a deep understanding of culture, politics, business and entrepreneurship and partnerships with civic society and private sector so that technological solutions are actually scaled up and adopted by the society. A broad-based study of interdisciplinary contemporary technologies and society, along with the mindset to deal with uncertainty, to innovate, to self-reflect and to collaborate needs to be developed. I hope that management and faculty of PIET is well geared to deal with these challenges for engineering education. I am sure that the magazine ‘POORNIMA PANORAMA’ will provide interesting matter, encompassing and reflecting the vibrant campus life and would prove to be a good platform to showcase excellent achievements of faculty and students. I congratulate all contributors and wish excellent success to the coming issues of the magazines. Annual Magazine 2021-22 Dr. S.M. Seth Chairman (Emeritus) Poornima Group Former Director, NIH, Roorkee 2 Poornima Panorama (Issue-XV)

I am sure that students will become extraordinary leaders in their respective fields and contribute positively to the advancement of our nation and humankind. I applaud the efforts of faculty, staff, and students in successfully collating all the information and putting it together in this magazine. Annual Magazine 2021-22 Shashikant Singhi Chairman, Poornima Group & Chairperson, Poornima University 3 Poornima Panorama (Issue-XV)
MESSAGE I am elated to hear that Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology is releasing the 15th issue of the annual magazine, Poornima Panorama, based on the theme \"Technology Integration for nation building\" for session 2021-22. A magazine helps to record the institution’s academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and allows the faculty, staff, and students to showcase their abilities and explore their creative potential. I applaud all the contributors and wish this magazine continued success in future editions. Annual Magazine 2021-22 Ar. Rahul Singhi Director, Poornima Group 4 Poornima Panorama (Issue-XV)
MESSAGE Lyndon B. Johnson once said, “If future generations are to remember us more with gratitude than sorrow, we must achieve more than just the miracles of technology. We must also leave them a glimpse of the world as it was created, not just as it looked when we got through with it.” Breaking out of anticipated patterns in order to look at things in a fresh manner is what \"Poornima Panorama\" offers as a compilation of all that ingenuity. It brings forth the originality of the academic community, which is rich in imagination and knowledge thanks to this institute. With such foresight and tenacity, this year's \"Poornima Panorama\" focuses on the topic “Technology Integration for Nation Building.” In 21st century technology integration in human life is a very important factor in building up nations. Science and technology have played a crucial role in every country's prosperity and development. It has made significant contributions to all sectors of the economy. Science and technology are inextricably linked with development because they have a track record of bringing advances that have resulted in healthier, longer, wealthier, and more productive lives, and they are vital aspects of approaches to the various problems and challenges that we currently face and are likely to face in the future. In this digital age, technology plays an increasingly important role in our lives. It is used by individuals and organizations to navigate information, share ideas and experiences, build virtual communities, and access resources. It also supports business as well as civic engagement and innovation. It is an honour to see the institute and its students blossom day by day, as each year passes and we see yet another amazing creation by the Poornima Institution of Engineering & Technology as compilation of achievements and knowledge gained by PIET, its faculty and students. Dedicating this edition of Poornima Panorama for Technology leading to Nation Building, is a commendable effort by editorial team to dedicate this issue for the cause of Technology and National building especially in 75th year of Independence when whole nation is celebrating “Azadi KaAmrit Mahotav”. At PIET, each student is considered as an individual who strives to achieve their goals by competing not just with others but also with themselves, therefore developing their interpersonal skills. All the faculty and staff of PIET are 100% focused on skill development and knowledge enhancement of each and every student in the campus. I wish you all the best in all your upcoming gutsy, persistent, and relentless endeavors. Annual Magazine 2021-22 Dr. Dinesh Goyal Campus Director, PIET 5 Poornima Panorama (Issue-XV)
Equited aura of PIET! Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology, an RTU subsidiary college, is now ranked third. The trees of PIET hold the accreditation of NBA and it was out itted in the year 2007 turning into a resource of Poornima Group. Stoking the lames in the quest to become an ideal ground, PIET receiving NAAC certi ication was a sheer snapshot of unsurpassed delight to thrive in every way. PIET's strength is its high- quality education to roughly 1800 specialists. \"Development is critical to the success of any association,\" and we here at PIET have made it our need to lift the understudies into work as specialists as well as resources in the ield of design. PIET centers around academics as well as stresses the general improvement of the understudy as an individual, in fact, and socially. The limit and ability to create, sort out, and deal with a new pursuit taking each measure of hazard and examining the plans, is the central subject for planning our educational program. The relentless and predictable help of the administration devoted, and the consistent administration of the staff individuals (workforce and non- instructing) have empowered our educators to work each day to rouse our students to challenge themselves and push past the center abilities of any study hall to gain noteworthy headway in a limited capacity to focus time. The marvelous blend and commendable endeavors of each PIETIAN had brought suf icient brilliance to the organization, accumulating the historical backdrop of trees in the accomplishments of PIET, leaving the impressions with a number of accomplishments at each level and different backgrounds. The new accomplishment blossomed all over Rajasthan. PIET has become one of the irst institutes in Rajasthan to start up proposals in advanced technologies, by launching B.Tech Al & DS with the approval of AICTE. Following this, PIET established a deep learning lab under the MODROBS scheme of AICTE with grants of around Rs.13 Lakhs. PIET is the only institute in Rajasthan to be funded by AICTE with a fund of Rs. 55 Lakh for establishing IDEA Lab. PIET has also received Research Grants for more than 50 Lakh in the last 3 years from agencies like TEQIP III, AICTE, NITTTR etc. The socially developed grounds of PIET have made a sound impression of ideal grounds today, and are continually open for each certain progression to execute the mission and vision of PIET. We at Poornima believe in... Fundamentals of Poornima SELF HELP GROUPS Self-Help Groups were created to improve student performance and support their academic success. The main points of emphasis are coaching practice, feedback, and learning strategies, such as analysis, modeling, demonstration, and discussion. Members can share their thoughts and experiences while also educating and motivating others. The team, consisting of ive to six individuals, aims to assist one another academically and in extracurricular activities. Assignments may include academic-related duties including inishing projects, performing mathematical calculations, and helping one another with homework. Self-Help Groups have been demonstrated to be very bene icial since they support students in growing their leadership and teamwork skills. TUTOR SYSTEM Students can utilize the tutor system as a helpful and directional tool to help them with their academic work and a daily quest for knowledge. A tutor is someone you can trust in any circumstance. He guides you whenever you need it and serves as your mentor, teacher, the igure of authority, second father, and, to some extent, counselor. All of the instructors instruct the students, but they can speak with the tutor about academic, faculty, and management-related problems in the hopes of coming up with a solution. The instructors teach the pupils how to handle their stress and develop practical skills. Additionally, they help the learner develop success-oriented traits. It is astounding that 15 years ago our leaders of this college had such focus on their goals. The celebration started with the welcome of the dignitaries. After lamp lighting, Ganesh Vandana was performed to seek the blessings of the almighty before starting the function. The Students' Council members performed a singing performance of the song known as the Engineering Anthem “Give me some sunshine.” After the singing performance, a dance performance was performed by the third-year students which contained a melody of songs on which they performed. POORNIMA INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY MESSAGE The purpose of the Students’ Council is to serve as an effective communication medium between the Management and students. It also assists in planning and developing various cultural, sports, social, recreational, and other educational interests of students in the institution. The Students’ council provides scope to contribute to the development of student's leadership skills, program planning, and volunteering. The journey of a thousand miles begins with just a single step and the graph that plunges forth showing rapid development begins with just a single dot. With this, the advise for all the students of the Institution is to keep in mind that being a part of students’ council is always great fun, that also brings with itself some everlasting bonds and friends that always stand beside in every bad and good time. “Make new friends, make new bonds, and learn something new in life, be a part of your students’ council.” Mohit Bajpai Assistant Professor, ECE Faculty Advisor, Students’ Council, PIET My experience in PIET has been amazing, from fun to education, from learning to developing, from participating to organizing, from losing to winning, and many more. I have a bunch of memories to reminisce about my college journey. I came to college dreaming about just studying and getting placed in a reputed company. I was quite an introverted girl. In college life, one gets a chance to make your own decisions. I was lucky enough to get a very wonderful opportunity to be the ‘Chair - Students’ Council, PIET’ this year. This came with a new meaning to my life. It was a challenge and lesson for me. Coming to Poornima was a great decision as it brought a lot out of me. The introvert me became con ident, extrovert, bold, and strong. I experienced many things including interacting with management and students, inding out a solution to problems in a better way and conducting events, activities, and sessions. There were ups and downs, but that's a part of life. This whole experience has added a different perspective to my life. The environment of college and hostel made me a better version of myself professionally as well as personally.
