On the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 84th Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2016, the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (The Office of the RDPB) published this bilingual educational comic series “Honorable Queen of the Land” to disseminate the royal activities and benevolence Her Majesty Queen Sirikit to the Thai people. This is also published to serve as the learning material for the young generation in educating them the development works according to her royal initiatives who has granted these knowledge to dispel hardship and bring prosperity to the people across the country including the restoration and conservation of natural resources, the development of water sources, the forest, wildlife and aquatic life, the SUPPORT Foundation projects and promoting the preservation of valuable Thai culture. All of which lead to the stability and sustainability of the people’s quality of life. The Office of the RDPB hopes that this educational comic book series the “Honorable Queen of the Land” will be able to relay the knowledge from the royal works of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit to the young generation of the country in an easily understandable format in a fun and enjoyable manner and which can be used to improve in their quality of life, in their community and their society as a whole.
