SUMMER ASSIGNMENT CLASS - VII SUBJECT - SOCIAL SCIENCE 1. The living conditions of the poor and the affluent (rich) differ greatly. The poor live in conditions that are unhygienic, filthy, highly polluted with poor amenities like access to pipe water, electricity and nutritious food. On the other hand, the affluent live in clean and hygienic surroundings. Please note the comparison is between the hygiene levels and not the beauty of the houses or the material things that they have. Based on this, answer the questions below with your thoughts in the scrap book. Q.1 What do you think can be done to improve the living conditions of the poor? answer1. We can give them hygienic food. We can give poor children education.we can teach poor people types of instrument so they can open orchestra. Q2. How and what can you teach the poor to improve their conditions? answer 2. We can teach them how to earn inside of asking for rs on road. We can also tell them about the government schemes. Q3. What suggestions can be given to the affluent people to help improve

the condition of the poor? Answer 3. We can ask them to tell poor people about there business so that they can get more new ideas for them. We can also ask affluent people to invest in there business and take there shares and help them in there business. Q4 During the summer break, educate one member of the poor family about the importance of hygiene and also talk to some members of the affluent families about how they can help the poor. Then share your experience in the scrap book as a paragraph. Answer 4. When I talk to poor people about hygiene so I was so shocked after listening there answer I was not expecting this from them they said that fir good hygiene we guys have to clean the streets to as our home they also asked for home in which they can live as in rain,summer and all this seasons they have to suffer with many diseases like in summer season they have to suffer from loo in rainy season they have to suffer from dengue and malaria as mosquitos breathe in dirty water. ***** Remember to add pictures and sketches wherever possible.
