corum.com SHEARER CLS450 Designed for operation in thin and medium coal seams with changing hypsometry of 1.05-2.4 m. Provides efficiency of up to 15 tons per minute. Shearer is made with block construction and placing main units in frame, which ensures an easy access to units for service support and simplifies assembling/dismantling. The amount of cables required for shearer operation was decreased by using the feeding speed regulating variable-frequency drive, mounted into shearer main frame, while all main units – above the AFC. Therefore, there is no need to purchase additional gateway equipment. Shearer length, including installed electric equipment, is 8.1 meters along the axes of cutting drums. This positively affects on decreasing the coal-cutting with stone, which allows the customer to mine more “pure coal” with minimum rock content. CLS450 is equipped with modern visualization software, which allows to control shearer operation in real-time mode, automatically calculate daily output, as well as analyse in details recorded data and figure out causes of efficiency decrease and equipment downtime. CLS450 is fitted with modern control system that monitors main units load and automatically regulates shearer feeding speed. System controls main operational functions and allows to minimize shearer downtime (providing control automatization, mining recording, connection between shearer and other longwall equipment, transferring data to gateway and/or to the surface). Portal-frame shearer with box-shaped high-load frame to place feeding blocks and frequency converter. The portal is designed in a way of separate bearing elements, rigidly connected with feeding frame and remote control assembling places. Shearer length, including installed frequency converter, is 7.78 meters along the axes of cutting drums. This positively affects on decreasing the coal-cutting with stone, which allows the customer to mine more “pure coal” with minimum rock content. There used an imbedded contactless commutator between the rectifier and inverter, which excludes the DC links over-current and highly increases converter sustainability. CLS550P is equipped with modern visualization software, which allows to control shearer operation in real-time mode, automatically calculate daily output, as well as analyse in details recorded data and figure out causes of efficiency decrease and equipment downtime. CLS550P is fitted with modern control system that monitors main units load and automatically regulates shearer feeding speed. Provides efficiency of up to 24 tons per minute. High shearer total installed power 848 kW in minimal dimensions and length 9.35 meters along the axes of cutting drums, allow using it in especially difficult mining and geological conditions with harshly changing seam hypsometry. SHEARER KA200 Designed for operation in thin and medium coal seams with changing hypsometry of 0.85-1.25 m. Provides efficiency of up to 5 tons per minute. Shearer is standardized to operate with both chain and chainless cutting drums. Application of vertical rotation drums allows using the shearer in faces with minimum roof pressure. This excludes false roof falling and allows the customer to mine more “pure coal” with minimum rock content. In cutting body applied a friction-type drum spread-decrease mechanism to regulate the height of seam cutting. Operation of shearer drums along the coal-bedding permits to decrease the load on shearer units and increase coal quality. corum.com ROADHEADER RH160 The medium-heavy class roadheader is designed for mechanization of breaking and loading of rock mass during preparation of arched, trapezoidal and rectangular tunnels with a raw cross section from 13 to 35 m2, and with inclination angle of ±18° for faces where coal and rock are mixed, with a breaking strength of rocks up to 110 MPa and abrasiveness up to 10 mg in mines hazardous with gas and/or dust. Modular design of the cutting head gearbox, depending on the client's wishes, can be equipped with a gearbox with both transverse and longitudinal-axial arrangement of cutting bits. Anchoring mechanization device reduces the time of one anchoring cycle by up to 50%, increasing work safety at same time. Separate hydraulic drive of crawlers provides high manoeuvrability and can be used without fail in watered tunnels. Loading stars of roadheader are not kinematically connected and work independently, which ensures high unit reliability.
