When the curtain came crashing down on the world as we knew it back in March, BTC did what any consummate Tap Dancer would do. Improvise and Pivot! You did a few \"pull backs,\" \"heel digs,\" and then paused a few beats while you struck a pose. By the fall you were \"shuffling\" across the backyard, building to \" Triple Traveling Time Steps\" as you took us back to OZ! What a performance! Take a bow! With love and gratitude for your unwavering commitment to our students and community! Richard, Marie and Marianna Ceccatti

Congratulations to David Lovett, BTC and the cast and crew of the Alumni Show You continue to enrich our community with your wonderful work! Keep making magic! The BTC Board of Directors Tracy Baron Dave Fondiller Steve Schoenfeld Susan Schoenfeld Theresa (“Terry”) Smith Marie Tassini-Ceccatti David Yarnold

Paying tribute to David Lovett is an impossible task, as words will forever fail to adequately convey the magnitude of his exceptional character and kindness. David is in a class all his own; a rare artist equip with indelible control over his craft, an acute understanding of the world around him and how they mingle. The combination, mixed with David’s unrelenting work ethic, make for a designer with rare insight into the depths of human emotion. Watching David work — structure his light and color, refine his shadows, witness the exact control he exhibits when structuring a scene — was one of life’s most unbelievable blessings, a gift I cherish greatly and reference often, as his work and the conversations we shared while he was working immeasurably informed my own craft and artistry. Working with David is a stunning experience. I would not be a photographer if not for him. Beyond his artistry, David Lovett is one of the kindest and smartest people I have ever met. The man is a wealth of knowledge with a wealth of experience and his mind is like the ocean; puzzling in the sheer magnitude of its magic and mystery. You always want to dive deeper, keep talking and exploring, but alas “time for tea” only lasts so long while working. In my most troubling days, when school was a mess and my friendships were minimal, David provided — like BTC as a whole — a sanctuary of kindness, grace, and mentorship, which helped give me place and purpose in a time when it was dearly needed. I am forever indebted to him. Today, I am beyond proud to call David Lovett a dear friend, and tonight I wish him nothing but joy. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of tribute than he. Love ya, David! Cheers to you! Forever with a grateful heart, George
