Bodhi MUN (BODHI LEAD) 02nd - 04th November 2018 BODHI LEAD: A LEGACY FOR THE SCHOOLThe quest to bring in a non-conventional platform of learning by collaborating and sharing brought BODHI LEAD into existence.The 3 days long, students organized, learning-by-doing extravaganzabegan with élan and gusto on the 2nd of November 2018; Dr. AkashMidha, Asst. Professor, Lachoo Memorial College graced the occasion asthe Chief Guest. A plethora of events like Tark-Vitark- the YouthConclave, Zumba session, Bake it Yourself, Do it Yourself and Fix ityourself sessions were organized alongside interactive sessions on PublicSpeaking & Collaborative Learning Skills and Healing The Inner Child.The Fiesta came to a close on the 4th Of November with the Award GivingCeremony by the dignitary Mr Sudeep Jain, Deputy ElectionCommissioner of India. Mr Jain congratulated the school for allowing thelearners to take the lead in planning and organizing such a successfulevent.





Children's Day Celebration 14th November 2018 'Children are the spark of our eyes and the reason for our happiness.'Bodhian teachers communicated this feeling to their beloved students by presenting a colourful and entertaining programme that rangedfrom prayers, poems, songs and dances. The day was overwhelming; thebond between teachers and students saw a new dimension with theportrayal of love and respect for each other. The students were quitetouched and thanked their teachers for making the day worth rejoicing.



Saevus Eco Achievers Quiz Competition 17th November 2018Saevus magazine, the country’s foremost nature and wildlife magazine, in association with the Rotary Club of Jodhpur Midtownhosted Jodhpur edition of the SAEVUS Eco-Achievers Quiz 2018-2019on Nov 17, 2018 at the Bodhi International School, Shikargarh, Jodhpur.Teams of three comprising students from standards 5 th , 6 th and 7 th fromschools across Jodhpur took part in the quiz championing the cause of thenatural world. Team from Mayur Chopasni school was the winner, BodhiInternational school and Mahaveer Public school were 1 st and 2 ndRunner ups respectively.

Inter-House Math Quiz (Grades 3 - 5) 24th November 2018Bodhi firmly believes that there is an Aryabhatt in every child; the need is to identify and nurture him. For promoting the importance ofMath in our daily lives and encouraging young Bodhians to use MentalMaths techniques as problem solving strategies, an exhilarating inter-house Math Quiz for the students of Grades 3-5 was conducted.Interesting but challenging questions from numbers, algebra, geometry,shapes and measures, and statistics were asked to the participants ofdifferent houses. All houses fought very hard to clinch the title but DronaHouse outshone all other houses in a very tough & close competition towin the first position. Agastya house and Chanakya house were the firstrunner-up and second runner-up respectively.

Inter-House English Debate Competition (Grades 6 - 8) 24th November 2018 Oratorical skills are the most important skills in the current times. Bodhi believes in developing and honing them from an early age. To provide a platform for exposure, an Inter House English Debate Competition for grades 6 to 8 was organized. The participants took the audience by awe with their arguments and claims about Newspapers are a dying media form, Religion is the cause of conflict in society, Men perform poorly in feminine caretaking jobs. In a tough fight to win the title of the winning team, Aryabhatta took the lead followed by Agastya and Drona. In individual category, Tejas Vijayvargiya stood first, Jayani Kachhawaha secured the second place and Vedaant Raturi bagged the third prize from grade 6. In grade 7, Doris Mathur, Sonal Rohatgi and Tanish Gehlot stood first, second and third respectively. Grade 8 saw Ansh Chouhan securing the first place followed by Aditi Charan on the second and Parnavi on the third place. The judges were amused by the presentations and wished students a bright future.

PTM 17th November 2018 24th November 2018The parents of the Pre Primary phase of Bodhi got an opportunity to review the curricular and co- curricular progress of their wardsthrough a Parent-Teacher Meeting held on the 24th of November 2018.They had a satisfying interaction with the teachers and discussed thefuture plan of action.

Open District Tennis Tournament 29th November 2018Tennis stars of Bodhi brought home the winning titles of Jodhpur District Tennis Championship 2018. Shreyansh Lodha in U-14singles category and Priyanshu Bishnoi in U-10 singles category becamethe winners. The school congratulates them and wish them luck for futureendeavours.
