Achievements Accolades in SportsFrom a humble beginning, edifices are constructed. Rannanjay and Kautilya arestriding their way to expertise in taekwando. Both won gold medals in under 27 kgand under 25 kg respectively in Jodhpur District Taekwando Tournaments; they areselected for State Level Championship. The school is elated at their achievementsand prays that they achieve milestone after milestone.

Messages from the Sports Prefect & CCA Prefect“Thousand men worshipping sportsmanship is better than one man practicing sportsmanship.”Being given the responsibility of the School Sports Prefect, I get an opportunityto prove that sporting plays a vital role in a students’ life. Mycaim with thisposition is to encourage the students as well as the parents to see sports notonly as a passion and hobby but also as a professional career. The platform is aforum in which a child works both ways- physically and mentally- to developfocus and endurance. I hope to be a sports idol for the younglings. I, as thebearer of this esteemed position, assure that all the students will get equal andfair opportunities to participate in sport competitions. IH Maths Quiz Competition (Grade 1-8) 3rd November 2017Children are not limited in what they can do when they have ‘Mathemagical’ skillsbecause, to a mathematician, real life is a special equation in a set of multivariables. In order to cast the real “MATH-E-MAGIC’ and to dislodge themonotony of classroom teaching, Inter-house Maths quizzes were conducted inthree categories today in the AV room. In the sub-junior category, students of grade 1and 2 showed their competitive spirit in a very exciting contest. Chanakya Housebagged the first position.Students of grade 3 to 5 fought very hard in the junior category to clinch the title.Agastya House won the first position with their spirited performance. In the seniorcategory, students of grade 6 to 8 won the hearts of the audience by exhibiting theirmesmerising mathematical skills. In a very close fight, Agastya House outperformedtheAryabhatta House to win the title.

English Debate (Grade 6-8) 3rd November 2017'You can speak well if your tongue can deliver the message of your heart.’Since time immemorial, oratory skills have been deemed indispensable and schoolshave been nurturing this.The Middle Wing of Bodhi organised an Inter House English debate competitionand provided a platform to the budding debaters to showcase their excellence inoration, expression and content.Mr Rohit Upadhyaya, Ms Ritu Goyal and Dr Ekadeshi Rajni judged thecompetition. Later they said that they had been spellbound to see the confidence andawareness of the children which were far beyond their expectations. Olympiads 08th November 2017Many students of the school participated in Olympiads conducted by SOF andSilver Zone. The students registered themselves in the subjects of their choice andsat the exams. English Olympiad by Silver Zone and Science Olympiad by SOFwere conducted in November; Math Olympiad and Cyber Olympiad will beconducted in the month of December. Olympiads are the exams which areconducted at a very large scale for students at all India level or state level. This pavesa way for the students to gain additional knowledge, beyond the books can offer. Thecompetition tends to make participants into very sharp-minded and 'clever'problem solvers.

Shlok Recital Day (Kindergarten) 10rd November 2017A shloka recital competition was held in the kindergarten phase of BodhiInternational School on the 10th of November. Children participatedwholeheartedly in the competition. They showcased their oratory skills by recitingshlokas with great confidence.Their performance on stage was more than worth anappreciation.

Bookmark Making (Grade 6-8) 13th November 2017The Primary wing of the school exhibited their creative insight in the Intra ClassBookmark making activity. The aim of this was to provide an opportunity toshowcase the imagination that each student has. This came out as a wonderfuloccasion for the students to rejoice in crafting an accessory that will add to theirpersonal collection; a collection that will bind their interest in academics.

Children’s Day Celebration 14th November 2017The ambience radiated with innocent smiles and curious eyes when the studentsentered the school campus on 14th November 2017. Their expectation of a surprisecame true when the students were taken for a movie. The younglings had a day fullof merriment on the school grounds. Children enjoyed their day and the purpose ofthe school to make the day worthwhile for the kids was achieved.

Parent-Teacher Meeting (IGCSE) 18th November 2017The school has reached an important juncture where grade 10 is nearning its time towrite the first IGCSE examination. PTM to present the analysis of the first PreMock examination was held on 18th November 2017. The day was also taken as aperfect opportune to orient the parents on Cambridge A Level which is just a fewmonths down the line.

Parent-Teacher Meeting (Seedlings & Buds) 18th November 2017The kindergarten phase of the school organized a PTM for grades Seedlings andBuds. The parents, accompanied with their children, were informed about theacademic progress and the skills that have been honed by them till now.

Winter Landscape (Grade 1-5) 21st November 2017Drawing competitions are important for students as they make them work harderand try their best in the meantime. It motivates them to express their views andexplore their creativity through theirArt works.The topic for the drawing& colouring was Winter Landscape- for grade 1st-5th All thestudents participated with full enthusiasm Students proved that they not only excelin academics, but also shine in exhibiting their skills by their creative presentation.They exhibited their talent using different medium. Children came up with amazingartwork in drawing.

Visit to Prestigious War Memorial 24th November 2017The kindergarten phase of the school aims to acquaint the learners with differentwalks of life. They visited the Prestigious War Memorial at Jodhpur Cantt. whichwas built in the memory of the brave Indian soldiers who gifted their lives for thesafety and security of the Motherland. Children were guided to pay homage to thedauntless souls by saluting. Further, they were taken to Sarva Dharma Sthala - aplace of worship where they prayed and chanted mantras.

Parent-Teacher Meeting (Blossoms) 25th November 2017A PTM for Blossoms was organized in the kindergarten phase of BodhiInternational School on 25th of November, 2017. It was a great interaction betweenthe teachers and the parents for the development of their children where theydiscussed both the strengths and areas of improvements.

Parent orientation- Grades 1 and 2 25th November 2017The school has always been quite responsive to the queries of parents. To addressone such concern that the parents of Grades 1 and 2 students had, a parentorientation session was organized. The parents were given a detailed insight into thepedagogy followed at the school. They were involved in various activities thatteachers conduct as a part of their teaching in the classroom. The subject teachersand respective HODs were also available to answer the queries of the parents. Thesession ended with a fruitful interaction of the parents with the faculty of the phase.

IH Project Making (ISA) 25th November 2017ISA project on alternate sources of energy titled- BE SENSIBLE, DO SENSIBLE-SAVE ENERGY provided enough knowledge to the learners about the non-conventional sources of energy and how they can be used to replace the conventionalones. The students involved in the study of the Alternate Sources of Energy used inIndia and Nepal. They shared their understanding with the partner school in Nepal.A further and detailed research enabled them to learn the global impacts of carbonemissions and pollution- factors that contribute greatly towards global warming.
