REVISION – STORYTELLING

“Twinkle – Twinkle little star” the day starts with melodious rhymes and songs. Every year 5th September is the GALA DAY for all teachers. The beautiful day begins with loads of messages pouring from lovely colleagues and loving students. Like children wait for children’s day, we teachers too, wait for this day without saying, which makes us feel proud and worthy. Each message reminds us of our dedication and contribution towards nation building. The time spent with little ones can’t be expressed in words. Every day is a brand-new day which brings immense happiness and instill pride in us when we take our classes. For past two years, we are not teaching children physically due to covid restrictions, but their unconditional love has not reduced during online classes. The enthusiasm and excitement in the students for learning is commendable. I would like to express my heart-felt gratitude not only to the students but also to the parents for their perpetual efforts during this virtual learning. This is the profession, whether we choose by choice or chance, we start loving every moment spent with young children. They motivate and inspire us to give our best so that each child can learn at his or her own pace and become a better person in life by achieving success in whatever they do. We teachers also get many opportunities to learn from our little ones incidentally. Each teacher feels the privilege of being an educator who contributes our nation by making young children into responsible citizens. Being teacher is not an easy job but being teacher is the best job. Rightly said by A.P.J Abdul Kalam “Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If people will remember me as a teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me.” Ms. Pooja Gupta Class Teacher of Prep II C
