MOSCOW UNITED METHODIST  LEARNING TREE    DECEMBER 2019  NEWSLETTER      December The holiday season is upon us and we are all looking forward to a fun and busy month! Our letters for the month are Qq, Uu, and Jj. We will learn the numbers 11 and 12. And our themes for the month are H​ ibernating-Time to Eat, Busy Bakery, Christmas. Grab Bag and Christmas Parties Pre-K and Preschool Christmas parties will be Wednesday, December 18th! Mommy and Me Workshop Christmas Party will be Thursday, December 19th! Students should be dropped off at their regular times. Our parties will begin 45 minutes before the end of class. This is when we will invite the parents into the classroom for a brief performance by your children AND a visit from Santa before they sit down to their party (parents of morning Pre-K children should be back at the school at 10:45 am. Parents of the afternoon Preschool children should be back to the preschool at 1:15pm.) We will be choosing names for a “Secret Santa” grab bag! We will be sending home the name of the child your child picked to buy a gift for. We ask that your gift please NOT exceed more than $5.00. We are also asking for parent volunteers to send in snacks for the parents and the children. Please send me a text or email if you would like to send something in so I can keep a running list so as to not have duplicates. Things to Bring for the Owl of the Week Monday: Owl’s Choice Tuesday: Game Wednesday: Toy Thursday: Stuffed Animal Friday: Book December Birthdays! Pre-K -- Sawyer-9 Preschool -- Colin-7 Important Reminders ● Please remember we are following North Pocono School District’s School Calendar. In the event the school district closes due to inclement weather, the preschool will also be closed. We will notify you via email in the event of a school cancellation. Cancellation information can also be found on our Facebook Page Moscow United Methodist Learning Tree​ and WBRE channel 28. *The preschool will operate on a normal schedule in the event of a two hour delay. However, there will NOT be early drop off at 8:30am.
