MOSCOW UNITED METHODIST LEARNING TREE  AUGUST 2019 NEWSLETTER    Welcome! We are looking forward to an exciting year with your child! Every month your child will bring home a Newsletter (such as this) to keep you informed as to what is going on in our classroom! The first few weeks we will be focusing on classroom rules, learning each other’s names, how to greet one another, being a good friend, working as a team, and how to respectfully and properly use the materials in our classroom. One belief of the Responsive Classroom Approach is that the social curriculum is just as important as the academic curriculum! Drop Off and Pick Up We ask that you please drop off your child as close to the start of school as possible so that we may have time to prepare for that class. Please enter on Church Street and exit onto Spring Garden Street. Special Note Please note that although we follow North Pocono School District’s school calendar of days off, we will not have early dismissal on their Act 80 days. Call, Text, or Email If your child will be absent, please call or text us at (570) 468-2485 or email [email protected]​ so we may plan accordingly. Payments Payments can be mailed or sent to school with your child. A receipt will be given for your payment. The first payment is due September 1st. If you are paying quarterly the next payment dates are November 1st, February 1st, and April 1st. Folders We supply a folder for your child that will come home daily. Please be sure to check it everyday for important notices and all of the fun things we do at school!
