Lunch Box Monday for 07.17.23

Lunch Box Monday is a weekly focused meditation on Prayer, Scripture, and Lunch. It is a way to turn off the noise and listen to the voice of wisdom with a blessing from God. Our ability to hear from God is similar to anything else we hear. We must turn up what we need to hear and turn down the things we don't. Take a moment today and carefully consider all that impacts your ability to hear God. Begin to turn down the \"noise\" that is drowning out His voice. Bible Reading: Proverbs 8

Father God, in a world marked by idolatry and the pursuit of worldly wisdom, I pray that You would help me identify the false gods and empty philosophies surrounding me. May my heart be free from any idols or distractions that hinder my relationship with You. I come before You recognizing Your sovereign power and the boundless love You have shown me through Jesus Christ. I lift those who are lost and searching for meaning. I ask that You reveal Yourself to them in powerful ways, drawing them into a personal and life- changing encounter with Jesus. Strengthen me, Lord, to remain steadfast in my convictions and to respond with grace and love, even in adversity. Amen.
