Lunch Box Monday for 04.17.23

Lunch Box Monday is a weekly focused meditation on Prayer, Scripture, and Lunch. It is a way to turn off the noise and listen to the voice of wisdom with a blessing from God. Our ability to hear from God is similar to anything else we hear. We must turn up what we need to hear and turn down the things we don't. Take a moment today and carefully consider all that impacts your ability to hear God. Begin to turn down the \"noise\" that is drowning out His voice. Bible Reading: Proverbs 8

Father God, I pray that I set aside my self-life and live in a true fellowship of the gospel with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Help me to discover that inner holy joy that comes from holding all the saints of God in my loving thoughts and lifting them in prayer within my heart. Thank You for the work that You have called me to do. I rejoice in seeing the message of Salvation spread to lost souls and not be downcast by those whose motive may be rooted in envy or bitterness. We are all one in Christ and partakers of the glorious gospel of grace. Amen.
