RF News and Updates RFNDTA A SUCCESS! February/March 2022 From L to R: Graham Marshall, Securities Investment Advisor, RF Barbados; Tiffany Scantlebury, RFNDTA Winner, Nursery Category; Dr. Ramona Archer- Bradshaw, Chief Education Officer at the Ministry of Education, Technology and Vocational Training In This Issue Ten educators were officially inducted into the RF National Distinguished Teachers Awards (RFNDTA) Hall of Fame during a virtual ceremony on March 16th. RF in the News Financial Literacy Month RFNDTA, which is held annually in Barbados, recognizes the significant contributions RF Versity local teachers make to the development of the nation's youth. Each year, the RF Anniversaries community nominates their pick to win and the top 10 are selected by a Blue Ribbon Panel of Judges made up of former Latest Blog Articles educators. Each winner receives a trophy and a $2,000 cash prize. 5 Keys to Successful Investing Hosting this year's event was VP of Facts About Women & Corporate Finance, Jim Wilson and Retirement AVP, Operations, Jackie Cleare. Campaign Guides Q1 2022 CAMPAIGN UPDATE Q1 2022 The Q1 Mutual Fund campaign launched last month in Barbados and Cayman. The Mutual Fund Campaign campaign is targeted at prospects interested in investing in the international markets. To date, the landing pages have had nearly 8,000 visits combined, generating 30 new leads! The Bahamas version of the campaign launched this month.

Marketing Updates RF IN THE NEWS Bahamas VP, Investments, David Slatter recently appeared on Our News where he discussed the impact of inflation on investors, particularly considering the war on Ukraine. David highlighted the benefits of investing in equities and corporate fixed income as the key to mitigating inflation's negative impacts. Click the video to watch the full segment. Barbados RF Mutual Funds were featured in the Barbados Business Authority highlighting their strong performance for the 3rd straight calendar year. The article is in response to the Q4 2021 report released by RF. According to the report, the impact of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus led to increased market volatility in late 2021. However, the equity markets rallied quickly, resulting in strong positive returns. The event connects local students with HBCUs in the United States, giving them the opportunity to receive academic scholarships. Over the past two years, the Fraternity has helped to secure over $5M for Bahamian students. Check out the full story here.

Marketing Updates INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY Kudos to Team RF for wearing purple on March 8th in honor of International Women's Day! Team photos were shared via social media and local press also with highlights of some of the amazing women on our team! SOCIAL MEDIA UPDATE We're happy to report positive gains on RF's social media presence over the few weeks. Check out the highlights below: INSTAGRAM FACEBOOK LINKEDIN PROFILE VISITS LINK CLICKS NEW FOLLOWERS TARGET UP 126.3% 1,500+ OVER BY 160% COMING UP IN Q2 Financial Literacy Month April is recognized locally as Financial Literacy Month. To commemorate this event, RF is putting on a series of workshops during the month to promote best practices like budgeting, savings and, of course, investing. The program includes sessions at local public and private schools and offices facilitated by our financial planning gurus. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks! Autism Awareness Month RF will support REACH Bahamas as they commemorate Autism Awareness month in April. This cause - under the Health & Safety philanthropic pillars outlined by RF's Donations Committee - seeks to help foster inclusion and create opportunities for children and adults with autism and related disabilities within the community. Blue lights will be used to illuminate RF's exterior all month long as part of the Light it Up Blue initiative and team members are encouraged to wear the Autism Awareness T-shirt every Friday for the month of April.

HHRR HHiigghhlliigghhttss INTRODUCING OUR FEATURED TEAM MEMBER OF THE MONTH! Quentin Gibson began his career journey after graduation from St John’s College in 2012. He started as a teller at Fidelity Bank’s, Frederick Street location. During his years at Fidelity, he cross-trained in several departments, to determine his career path. After a few years working as a teller, he realized that he was more interested in Investment Banking. Quentin Gibson Motivated by this career path, Quentin sat the Series 7 exam in 2016, which he Senior Securities Trader passed, and shortly thereafter, began his career at RF as the Assistant Securities Brokerage Department RF Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Limited Trader, Brokerage Department. As his career progressed, Quentin was promoted to Securities Trader in 2018 and then to Senior Securities Trader in 2020, while acquiring his Certified International Financial Planner Certification/Designation. Quentin is working to further his education and achieve his next career goal of becoming an Investment/Financial Advisor. Quentin has a passion in personal finance and helping people to improve their financial situation. He believes that many people aspire to achieve financial freedom but don’t have a plan. He currently runs an Instagram page (@finiq_byq) and YouTube page (FinIQ By Q) and a Blog (finiq242.blogspot) where he speaks about building wealth managing your finances and how persons can use money and other financial instruments to their benefit. He also conducts interviews and podcast on the topic, through the online presence that he has created. Quentin also has a passion for poetry. He took this passion to another level by sharing his pieces to Instagram and featuring them in his own events called “Poetry in The Islands”. While he no longer holds these events and does not write as often as he used to, Quentin maintains that writing and expressing himself through poetry will always be a way of decompressing, and an avenue of relief.
