Benny Stumbles Once upon a time a boy named Benny was just walking around until he fell into a big hole! And found himself on an island. Benny was astonished to find an island under the Earth! There he met another boy named Jack. Benny asked him ‘Who are you?’ Jack replied ‘I am Jack. You seem to be new here as I have never seen you. Who are you?’ Benny replied ‘I am Benny.’ “Wow, what a huge mushroom!” And then he saw a grape vine and a big bunch of grapes too. “I am hungry. Can I take that bunch of grapes?” asked Benny. “Yes, of course you can take them.” said Jack. “Is everything magical here?” Benny asked. “Yes Benny, everything is magical on this island.” replied Jack. 3

Magical Island As soon as Benny ate the grapes he got wings! “Where are you Benny?” said Jack “I am here” shouted Benny. He was up in the sky flying high. Jack too ate some grapes and could fly like a bird. They both were flying high and they decided to race. Eventually, both had a tie! But they enjoyed their journey and were too tired now. Then they saw a carpet with lots of fruits on it. As soon as they ate the apples, their wings disappeared! The carpet started to fly and flew until they reached the rainbow mountain. There was a bouncy path off the carpet leading to a lake. The boat in the lake was made of rainbow colours. It was a frozen lake. Both the boys crossed the lake and reached a cave. There were a lot of jewels and golden coins. They kept it all on the magic carpet one by one. There were at least 100,000 gold coins. “Wow! I never thought there was so much treasure near the rainbow. Will it disappear when the rainbow is gone?” asked Benny. “I hope not.” replied Jack. 4

Goblin and the Punishing Robots The boys were thirsty and found some coconuts. They kept on banging them until they broke and then they drank the coconut water but while they were trying to break the coconuts, a goblin stole all of the gold! “Where is all of our treasure?” said Jack. They were both so shocked when they saw that their treasure was gone! The goblin hid under the carpet and he didn’t do anything at all so Jack and Benny didn’t notice anything at all! Then Jack and Benny said “Carpet go wherever you want.” The carpet knew that the goblin was under the carpet so it went to the punishing robots village while the goblin held the carpet tightly. “Why are we here? We have not done anything wrong!” said Jack. The robots could notice the goblin under so they told Benny and Jack to move away and they picked up the carpet and they all saw the goblin with the treasure! Then the robots said “He is very naughty we will punish him so that he never steals anything ever again.” 5

The three Tasks Both the boys took the treasure and kept it on the carpet. But when they were going they saw a giant. When they tried to go back, the giant stopped them and said “You must complete my 3 tasks to pass.” The giant said “The first task is to find a map I have hidden somewhere here.” Then they both start searching for it, and then after some time Benny found the map. The giant said “Well done, now your second task is to follow the map and dig down until you find a key. Take some shovels with you to dig down.” The boys followed the map and dug down and found the key. “Now, the final task is to make the map into a lock by finding the lock and putting it on the map. It will be somewhere near the place you found the key. Once you have made the map into a lock, take out the key and watch the magic happen.” They both tried finding the lock but couldn’t find it. After some time they were thirsty, so 6

they went to a coconut tree and when they shook it a little bit, a lock fell down! Then they took out the map, kept the lock on the map. The map changed into a lock! Then they took out the key and the key went inside the lock on it’s own! And then the giant disappeared! Then they thought, what shall we do now? 7

The Land of Wishes Benny and jack soon saw a goblin coming towards them. The goblin said “Do you want your every wish to come true?” The boys said “Yes, please”. The goblin said “Then I will show you the Land Of Wishes”. The three of them sat on the carpet and the goblin showed them the Land Of Wishes. When they reached there, the goblin said “Try wishing for a castle”. “We wish for a castle” the boys chorused together. And a castle appeared! When they went inside there was nothing except for two thrones and a few seats. They uttered “We wish for some servants, some people, some horses grazing in a stable”. Everything they wished for, soon appeared! And they asked for a lot of pizzas, ice-creams, burgers and chocolates. Then they ate everything, and after 2 days Benny remembered that the weekend is over and it’s Sunday already! 8

Extended Weekend Benny told Jack that his holidays were over and he has to go. He also recalled that he wanted to play with his new remote control helicopter! Benny said “I wish the weekend starts over again from tomorrow” When he woke up the next morning he checked the time and it was 9:30 a.m.! He realised he was late for school, he hurriedly got ready and rushed downstairs for breakfast. Then he asked his mom for the breakfast. His mother was surprised and replied “What happened to you! It’s Saturday today.” Benny recalled his last wish of the weekend starting over again. He got extremely excited and went outside to play with his remote control helicopter. 9
