TREES ARE OUR FRIENDS Students found out the things trees provide us and showcased the same on 3d model of tree. This activity was helpful to make them understand the importance of trees.
FIRST AID KIT MAKING ACTIVITY Students prepared first aid kit .They learnt what are the things that should be kept in a basic first aid kit and understood how useful it would be in to deal with minor injuries.
OUR FESTIVALS Students presented scene of a festival of their own choice and wrote name of things related to the festival. this type of activities are helpful to connect children to our culture and beliefs.
BIRD FEEDER MAKING ACTIVITY Students made bird feeders and understood that every animals has a purpose and serves in the Ecosystem. Its our responsibility to take care of them.
WORLD FOOD DAY ACTIVITY Students participated in talk on project activity . They presented the different sources of food . This activity was helpful to understand the value of food as well as it’s sources.
LANTERN MAKING & DIWALI CELEBRATION Students participated in Lantern making activity on Diwali , the festival of light . They made colorful lanterns and decorated them in their own innovative ways.
LET’S VISIT GARDEN AND OBSERVE FLOWERS Students observed flowers in their surroundings. They drew or pasted cut- outs of different flowers and wrote their names.
POPULAR PEOPLE IN THE WORLD In this project students chose a really famous person and then wrote about that person. The objective of this activity was to put forth the special qualities of tehse renowned personalities in front of the students.
COMPOSITION WITH SHAPES Although children accurately perceive shapes in their everyday environments, children need to think about the composition made with the help of shapes. Our main educational goal should be to promote understanding of basic geometry.
SNOW MAN MAKING & CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION Students made snowman and decorated a corner in their homes for celebrating Christmas. They enjoyed the activity and learnt the message of spreading brotherhood and cheerfulness .
CULTURAL CONNECT ENGLISH CONNECT A reading activity was planned for the students to enhance their reading skills. The students were quite enthusiastic for this activity. They had read their favourite story and drew their favourite character on A4 size sheet.
SAVE ENVIRONMENT ROLE PLAY ACTIVITY Saving environment from pollution is the need of today, the way we are destroying environment will lead to the destruction of life from this earth. Therefore, it is necessary that we should save environment. To spread this message, a role play activity was conducted by students. Students dressed up accordingly and actively participated in the activity. This activity was helpful to make them understand the importance of protecting Environment.
SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY – MY FAVOURITE TOY Students participated in this activity which helped them to build their self-confidence and self-esteem. It enabled them to improve their descriptive skills by communicating feelings, thoughts and emotions with words. They used their favourite toy as a prop and shared their feelings with peer which provided fun and comfortable learning arena for everyone involved. Thus, this activity helped our tiny tots to build their social, emotional and language skills.
SCIENCE ACTIVITY ANIMAL SHAPES WITH DRY LEAVES Students made shapes of different animals by using dry leaves. This activity helped them to use their creativity to form animals using leaves of different sizes and shapes.

LET’S MAKE 3D WORLD Let's make a 3D world is an mathematical activity wh ich enhanced the perceptions of class 3rd students. Students participated with enormous joy and creativity and made different 3-D objects like flower, dog etc. Their curiosity led them to an another level of understanding about the 3-D wo rld . This activity helped them learning 2D and 3D shapes easily.
MATHEMATICAL RHYME Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computation or algorithm. It is about understanding. Mathematical rhy ming was an activ ity conducted in class 4th.Students composed rhymes on different topics of mathematics. It helped in enhancing their abstract thinking and linked mathematical concepts thread by thread in a poetic manner.
FLASH Flash is an activity to enhance and promote studying through active recall. In which students prepare flash cards bearing info rmation on both sides, which is intended to be used as an aid in memo rizat ion. Each flashcard bears a question on one side and an answer on the other. Flashcards are often used to memo rize vocabulary, historical dates, formulas or any subject matter that can be learned via a question-and-answer format.

CLASS III A fun filled activity was planned for the students. The students were guided to select their favorite literary characters. They had shared their views about their favorite literary character as well as they drew their favorite character on A4 size sheet. Videos for this activity along with their drawing were received by subject teacher . Students were appreciated for their efforts as well as were guided also to improve their reading skills.
CLASS IV A reading activity was planned for the students to enhance their reading skills. The students were quite enthusiastic for this activity. CLASS V In our everyday lives, grammar is everywhere. So , to enhance the students’ grammatical skills , few class activities were done along with projects related to the topic. One of them was related to prepositions. Students were guided to make projects describing various prepositions and their usages. The students gave detailed presentations quite enthusiastically.
FUN WITH SCIENCE To enhance the scientific aptitude in students science month was observed in the month of September where various activities were organized for students of different grades. SOCIAL SCIENCE ACTIVITIES CLASS ACTIVITY IV UNITY IN DIVERSITY V I AM A FREEDOM FIGHTER/ SOCIAL REFORMER
UNITY IN DIVERSITY The students presented different states of India exhibiting their culture, music, dance, paintings, handicrafts, festivals, dresses. Each state specializes in its specific cultures and ethics and has its own identification mark. This activity encouraged the children to view the whole country at a glance, show diversities, think independently but remain unite and understand the power of unity.
I AM A FREEDOM FIGHTER/ SOCIAL REFORMER The unforgettable fight for freedo m is a perfect examp le of the Unity in diversity of India when the whole nation stood on the same platform with diverse culture, caste and relig ion. Patriotis m does not always mean to sacrifice the life fo r the country but contributing good services towards the country and its people is also equivalent to sacrifice .In this activity, students played the role of freedo m fighters and social reformers of different caste and religion that had promoted integrity and brotherhood among people in our society. It had induced the feeling of patriotism and a noble sentiment of love, pride and sacrifice for the sake of one’s own country and its people.
VAN MAHOTSAV The annual one-week tree planting festival in India is Van Mahotsav. It was initiated by Dr. Kanaiyalal Maneklal Munshi in 1950. The movement was initiated with the goal of raising awareness among individuals about planting trees and conserving forests. We have virtually commemorated Van Mahotsav week this year at Bal Bharati Public School, Indraprasth Yojna.
INDEPENDENCE DAY We at Bal Bharati Public School believe that development and growth is facilitated by Freedom. Even in these unprecedented times of Covid -19 , Independence day was celebrated in a different and unique way at Bal Bharati Public School. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation , our Principal –Ms. Ruchira Bhatnagar unfurled our tri-colour. Rest the whole function was presented through online presentation. The program also included dance, singing , drama and even the speeches by the school students. There was also a fancy dress presentation on Freedom fighters by our tiny tots. In the end a documentary on freedom struggle was also shown . Indeed it was day of joy, a day of love and respect our country.
TEACHER’S DAY ‘A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill love for learning’. Every year, we, at Bal Bharati Public School, celebrate Teacher’s day with great fun and enthusiasm. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. To share this happiness and to celebrate the day, the school has arranged for Special Virtual Assembly
WORLD FOOD DAY Keeping the spirit high and to motivate students in this stay at home condition BBPSIP had organized a virtual mass activity for the students. On WORLD FOOD DAY.“Fireless Cooking Activity” was organized on 16thOctober for students from Preschool to Grade XI. Students prepared yummy lip smacking healthy snacks without fire. Like Fruit Chat, Sandwich, Indian Chaat , Squash, Shake Smoothies desert and Indian cuisine with fusion. They had also shared the nutritive value of the snacks which they had made in front of the class. “Good food basically that we have in our plate is a result of immense amount of hard work that is put at various stages…. Consume it with utmost respect….”
DUSSHERA We, at Bal Bharati Public School Indraprasth Yojna, believe that the children must be given the flavor of all the festivals and their significance as that keeps an individual rooted to his/her culture and traditions. A special assembly on Dussehra was organized virtually where students showcased their talent and enjoyed the festivity. There was an array of performances students performed Durga Stuti, Ram Katha and Significance of Head of Ravana was explained well in the form of PPT .Students of class IIIrd has performed various live dance on the occasion of Dussehra.
DIWALI On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, our school had organized a special assembly for Diwali celebration with cultural commemoration on, 12th November 2020 . Celebrations began with Gayatri mantra followed by melodious group song . The festival of lights came alive when the group dancers presented a mesmerizing performance adorning the stage. All the students were dressed in colorful traditional clothes. Enchanting of chaupais , mesmerizing dance performances, puppet show and presentation of goddess Laxmi, summarizing the epic, ’Ramayana’ were presented .
CHRISTMAS On the auspicious occasion of Christmas, our school had organized a special assembly for Christmas celebration with cultural commemoration on, 24th December 2020 . Celebrations began with prayer “ We shall over come” followed by tiny tots fancy dress on importance of different things related to Christmas. The festival came alive when the group dancers presented a mesmerizing performance adorning the stage. All the students were dressed in colorful clothes. A Hindi skit on birth of Jesus Christ was presented by the students with great confidence. Collaboratively, children also done English skit on spreading happiness’. The students showcased the spirit of Christmas through few mesmerizing dance performances and songs in Amalgamation. The virtual assembly was ended with a speech by the principal ma’am who expressed the importance of spreading happiness .
SPECTRUM SPECTRUM’ is a multi-dimensional show of individual talent and to give a child maximum exposure in the school. It gives an opportunity to the children to showcase their innate talents and abilities.In SPECTRUM 2020 various competitions were organized for students of Preschool to Class IX and students participated with all the enthusiasm and zeal and showcase their talent on virtual platform .This time our judges were not alone as audience also voted for their favorite contestants and rate them on the scale of 1 to 5 and final judgement was the average of judges scores and audience votings.
