REDUCED RATES The City of Lafayette provides a program for eligible participants that reduces fees for youth by 50% for activities sponsored by the Recreation Department* and reduces the daily admission fee by 50%. The reduced rate program is available to all Lafayette Residents meeting one of the following guidelines: • TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES (TANF) • SUPPLEMENTAL SOCIAL SECURITY INCOME (S.S. I. OR S.S.D.) • W.I.C. We accept the following payment methods: cash, check, credit card, money order, or household credit balance. CLASS CONFIRMATION Please provide your email address on the registration form. Please review your receipt carefully. Contact the Recreation Center immediately if there is a problem. REGISTRATION INFORMATION 1) The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel or combine any class due to insufficient participants. You will be notified prior to the first class if it has been cancelled and you will receive a full refund, credit or transfer to another class. 2) Late fees: Any youth sports registration not received by the registration deadline, will be assessed a $10 late fee. Payment will be taken (check or credit card) for youth league wait list registrations but will not be processed until the child is placed on a team. CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY We strive for positive experiences and excellence in everything we do. If you cancel from a class, you must request the cancellation seven days prior to the start of the class to receive a 75% refund. Day Camp deposits and Preschool/B.A.S.E. registration fees are nonrefundable. ► Class transfers are subject to a $5.00 transfer fee. ► All cancellations initiated by the participant must be approved by the program supervisor and will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee. ► NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be given for cancellations, initiated by or for the participant, made less than seven days before the start of class. Refunds will be issued in the form of a check or credit card (depending on method of payment) or a household credit balance. LAFAYETTE RECREATION'S Featuring Cookies with Claus FLASHLIGHT CANDY CANE HUNT FEATURING COOKIES WITH CLAUS The 2021 Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt is bigger and better than ever! A certain someone has hidden candy canes outside the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center and City Park fields. Grab your flashlight and search for candy canes but be on the lookout for hidden elves. If you find an elf, bring it to the check-in table to receive a prize. Warm up inside the recreation center with hot chocolate and cookies/pictures with Santa Claus. Join us pool side for an ornament race to wrap up the night. May the fastest ornament win! Pre- registration is required for the ornament race. YOUTH SWIM LESSONS GROUP SWIM LESSONS Our group swim lessons have low student to teacher ratios and are taught by Red Cross Certified instructors. With sessions going all year round, now is the best time to take the plunge into group lessons! YOUTH /ADULT AQUATICS SWIM CONDITIONING STROKE CLINIC Stay active through swimming in this swim-team style program that also emphasizes stroke development. PARTIES ROOM RENTALS AT THE BBRC Pick your passion, our party packages have something for everyone! All packages are available on Saturdays and Sundays. PARTY PACKAGE OPTIONS: Wet and Wild Pool Party Sports of All Sorts Party Artful Antics Party Skateboard Party- includes 1 hour of skate time followed by one hour in the room. Equipment needed for this party includes skateboard, helmet, and drinking water- pads are not required but highly encouraged. Available March- November. This party is run by Square State Skate. Party Package Inclusions: Two hours of specialized fun and room rental included. A party supervisor available to run activities, setup and break down of the room. We supply the paper goods with choice of colors (red, blue, yellow, green, pink, or purple) and will supply all equipment for the sports and art parties. Includes up to 10 children, 20 children maximum. An additional fee of $4.00 per child for each additional child after 10. Bring your own decorations, food, and beverages (no alcohol). Party Package Rules: Children under 5 require an adult to be in arms reach of them in the water (pool packages). Rental payment is due at the time of reservation.
