These children have distinguished themselves in most areas worthy of applause this week and therefore have won for themselves the Star of the week. Congratulations to you all!!! Daniel Ola - Nursery Cuddles - For a wow performance in Literacy. Ethan Onuh- Playgroup Marble - For being responsive in class. Tiffany Babalola - Toddler Pebbles - For being able to say her name and surname correctly. Akinade Adelekan - Reception Sparkle - For being honest in class.

TODDLER PEBBLES In Physical development and Communication and language this week, we sang and danced to an action rhyme. In Literacy, we looked at learning to sound the letters/ a/s/. While in Expressive art and design, we made a collage on letter S Template. PLAYGROUP MARBLE Our theme remains \"People Who Help Us\". In Physical Development: The children talked about safety. In Mathematics, we explored long and short, big and small objects as well as ordering objects according to sizes and length. In Literacy: we explored blending CVC words with the first and second groups of jolly phonics. We also looked at letter formation and matching words to their initial sounds.

NURSERY CUDDLES This week, we reinforced Addition with Objects,One more than a number and counting numbers 30/50/100.In Literacy, we explored blending /c/ words e.g can, cap, cat,cod,cot,cup,cut and /ed/ words e.g Bed, fed, led, red, wed, beg,leg,peg etc. In Communication and language, we explored the sotry of the Little Red Hen and The Enormous Turnip while in In Understanding the World, we discussed food farming and how food is made. RECEPTION SPARKLE This week in Personal, social and emotional development, we explored the importance of listening and taking turns when at the supermarket. In Communication and language, we discussed different kinds of fruits, and read \"The very hungry caterpillar\". In Literacy, we learnt to add 's' and 'es' to turn singular to plural while in Math, we focused on how to buy and sell items using money.
