Important Safety Instructions WARNING Read and follow all instructions, heed all warnings to avoid damaging your STB device and other device and prevent the risk of serious injury to yourself and others. ∙ Place the STB on a durable standstill table to prevent the STB from falling. Avoid stacking the STB on top or below of any electronic devices. ∙ Follow the type of power source indicated on the label marking. ∙ Do not place or operate the STB near water or wet surfaces. ∙ Always unplug the AC power of the STB before cleaning it. Use dry clean cloth only. ∙ Install according to instructions. Use only recommended accessories. ∙ Do not place near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stove, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. ∙ Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. ∙ Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched. ∙ Check all connections if properly inserted/fitted before turning the power on. 1

Important Safety Instructions ∙ Unplug the STB from the outlet and the antenna connection during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. ∙ Refer all servicing to authorized service personnel. Users are not allowed to open or remove the STB cover because this will void the warranty and to prevent from electric shock. ∙ Hold and grip the power plug to disconnect it from the power outlet not the cord. ∙ The ventilation holes should not be covered with items such as newspapers, table-cloth, curtains, etc. to prevent the STB from overheating. ∙ No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, lighter and matches should be placed on the STB. ∙ Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal. ∙ Use the STB with a moderate temperature surroundings WARNING: To avoid the risk of serious injury, electric shock and damage to the STB, the device should not be placed near to any water. Avoid any water/liquid drip and sprinkler. 2

Product Overview Rear View 1. LNB IN - Connect via coaxial cable to a dish to receive digital broadcasts. 2. USB - Used for software updates. 3. HDMI - Connect HDMI cable to HDMI input of the TV. 4. AV - Connect to the Audio Video input of the TV. 5. DC Power - Connect the 12V power adapter to switch the STB to On/Off. WARNING: The USB memory stick should be plugged directly to the STB. USB extension cable should not be used to avoid possible interruption of data transfer. 4

Remote Control Unit 1. MUTE: Mute or Restores Audio Output 2. Power: Switches the product to on or standby 3. RED: Red function key 4. GREEN: Green function key 5. YELLOW: Yellow function key 6. BLUE: Blue function key 7. DIAG: Displays the Satellite System information screen 8. FIND: Find channel by name 9. REMIND: Opens the Program Reminders screen 10. BMail: Displays Bmail screen to view notification messages 11. FASTSCAN: Searches for the main frequency point 12. SAT: Opens the Satellite Selection 13. USER: Opens the User Setup menu 14. FAV: Displays list of favorite channels 15. EPG: (Electronic Program Guide) Displays channel program list 16. MENU: Displays menu 17. ◀ ▶: Direction buttons 5

Remote Control Unit 18. ▲ ▼: Direction buttons 19. OK: Confirm Operation 20. Back: Returns to previous channel 21. EXIT: Exits the current menu 22. VOL+/VOL-: Adjusts volume 23. CH+/CH-: Channel up, Channel down 24. INFO: Shows the Info bar and Current/Next event 25. 0-9(Number Key): Selects a channel or setting 26. TV/Radio: Switches channels between TV channels and Radio channels 27. HELP: Displays the Customer Support screen WARNING: The batteries included/installed should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunlight, fire or any hot surfaces. 6

STB Connections Cautions: Make sure to check the voltage specification of the wall outlet if the same rating as the receiver. To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not open the cover or the back of the receiver. Note: When connecting the receiver to other equipment, e.g., TV, VCR and amplifier, make sure to refer to relevant user manual for instructions. Also, make sure to unplug all equipment’s power supply before inserting connections. 7

Installation Setup Guide Make sure that all cables are connected according to the user manual. ∙ Please wait for the STB to initialize and follow the on‐screen instructions. After the welcome logo, Channel/Satellite scan will appear. ∙ Please wait until the Satellite scan is finished. This may take a few minutes. After the scan has successfully completed, continue by pressing the <OK> button. ∙ STB will display the TV and Radio channels list. Enjoy and experience your favorite TV and Radio programs. 8

System Setup Diagnostics In the Diagnostics page, important system information is displayed. This page is critical especially when troubleshooting either by our Cignal-certified technicians or Customer Care. To access, press <Menu> key from RCU and select Settings > System > Diagnostics or simply press <DIAG> key Installation (Default PIN: 0000) This function allows the user to automatically re-scan or setup satellite, Transponder and LNB. Factory Default (Default PIN: 0000) This function allows the user to restore the STB to its factory default. After reset, the STB will reboot and will go to the First Time Installation setup. 9

Basic Channel Functions Adding Favorite Channels ● TV and Radio Channels List – Displays list of channels, users can manage favorite channels, lock and unlock channels. 1. Press <Menu> from the remote control. 2. Use <▲▼> keys and choose Channel Manager and press the <OK> key. 3. Look for TV Channels List and press the <OK> key. 4. While in the TV Channels List screen, choose the desired channel and press the <BLUE> key. 5. After adding all your favorite channels, press the <EXIT> key. 10

Basic Channel Functions Locking Channels Make sure to set Channel Lock to “ON”. From the main Menu screen, use <▲▼> keys to select “User Setup” then press <OK>. Choose the “Parental Control” then press <OK>. Under Parental Control screen, select “Channel Lock” and use <◀▶> keys to switch ON or OFF channel lock function. Then, press <EXIT> to go back to the main Menu. 1. While in the main Menu screen, use <▲▼> keys to choose Channel Manager then press the <OK> key. 2. Look for TV Channels List and press <OK>. 3. While in the TV Channels List screen, use <▲▼> keys to select channel to be locked. Press the <RED> key and input your 4-digit PIN code. 11

Basic Channel Functions Selecting Channel: LIST of Channels While watching, press the <OK/List> key and then the “All Channels” menu screen will appear displaying all TV or Radio channels available. Use the <▲▼ >keys to find and select a new channel, then press <OK> to confirm. FIND Channel While watching, press the <GREEN> key and the “FIND” menu screen will be displayed with the on-screen keyboard. Type the Channel name or any keyword pertaining to that specific Channel (e.g., first 2-3 letters of the Channel) using the on-screen keyboard then press the BLUE colored key to confirm. Press <▲▼> keys to select a Channel then press <OK> to confirm. Press <EXIT> key to exit FIND menu screen. 12

EPG (Electronic Program Guide) Displays the lists of current and upcoming TV programs on all available channels. While watching, open the EPG menu screen by pressing the <EPG> key. Press <▲▼> keys to find and select a channel, press <OK> then press <Exit>. Channel Information Bar Displays Channel Information currently being watched. It is displayed when pressing the <INFO> key while watching or when changing channels. To adjust the channel bar display timeout and transparency, press <MENU> and then select “User Setup”. Use <▲▼> keys and then select “Display”. Adjust your desired timeout and transparency of the channel bar. 13
