คู่มือคำศัพย์ภาษาไทย - ภาษาอังกฤษเเละการเลือกใช้คำศัพย์ภาษาอังกฤษที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเหรียญ

คำนำ การจัดทาคู่มือคาศัพท์ภาษาไทย - ภาษาอังกฤษ และการเลือกใช้คาศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษที่เก่ียวข้อง กับเหรียญ ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากการได้เข้าชมห้องนิทรรศการเหรียญนานาชาติ ณ พิพิธภัณฑ์เหรียญกษาปณานุรักษ์ และการได้รับโอกาสจากผู้อานวยการส่วนเผยแพร่และผู้อานวยการกองส่งเสริมและพัฒนาทรัพย์สินมีค่าของรัฐ ให้เดินทางไปเข้าร่วมงานนิทรรศการเหรียญนานาชาติ ณ ประเทศญี่ปุ่นเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2561 และประเทศเยอรมนี เมอ่ื พ.ศ. 2562 ในครั้งน้ัน ผู้เขียนได้เปิดโลกทัศน์ ได้เห็นความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในการออกแบบ นวัตกรรม เทคนิค การผลิตเหรียญกษาปณ์ท่ีระลึกของโรงกษาปณ์จากประเทศต่าง ๆ ทั่วโลกที่นามาจัดแสดงและจาหน่าย ในงานนิทรรศการเหรียญนานาชาติ และที่สาคัญการได้อ่านป้ายคาบรรยายเหรียญกษาปณ์ที่ระลึกที่จัดแสดง ภายในงานนทิ รรศการฯ รวมถึงส่อื สงิ่ พมิ พข์ องโรงกษาปณแ์ ตล่ ะแห่งท่ีนามาแจกจ่ายให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมงานนิทรรศการฯ ทาให้ผู้เขียนได้เรียนรู้คาศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษเก่ียวกับเหรียญ ก่อเกิดเป็นความสนใจที่จะเรียนรู้คาศัพท์ให้มากข้ึน ต่อมาจึงได้เข้าชมเว็บไซต์ของโรงกษาปณ์หลายประเทศ และระลึกได้ว่าควรนาความรู้จากวิชาภาษาศาสตร์สังคม (Sociolinguistics) เมื่อคร้ังศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี คณะอักษรศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ มหาวิทยาลัย ศิลปากร มาประยกุ ตใ์ ช้ให้เกดิ ประโยชน์กับการทางาน ปัจจัยเหล่าน้ีได้จุดประกายความคิดให้กับผู้เขียนในการรวบรวมคาศัพท์ที่เกี่ยวกับเหรียญ คาศัพท์ท่ีใช้ ในการบรรยายรายละเอยี ดตา่ ง ๆ ของเหรียญ ตลอดจนตัวอย่างประโยคจากส่ือสิ่งพิมพ์ท่ีได้รับจากงานนิทรรศการ เหรียญนานาชาติและเว็บไซต์โรงกษาปณ์ต่าง ๆ พัฒนาเป็นการจัดทาคู่มือ โดยมีจุดประสงค์ให้เกิดมาตรฐาน การเลือกใช้คาศัพท์ เกิดความสะดวกในการค้นหาคาศัพท์เม่ือมีการเรียบเรียงเน้ือหาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ หรือแปล เน้ือหานิทรรศการและบทความเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อให้สามารถเลือกใช้คาศัพท์ได้หลากหลายมากข้ึน อีกทั้ง ยังเป็นคมู่ ือสาหรับผู้ท่ีกาลังศึกษาคาศพั ท์ภาษาอังกฤษเก่ยี วกับเหรียญเบอ้ื งต้นได้อีกดว้ ย ผู้เขียนขอขอบคุณอาจารย์ ผู้ประสิทธิ์ประสาทความรู้โดยเฉพาะวิชาภาษาอังกฤษต้ังแต่ระดับอนุบาล ถึงระดับมหาวิทยาลัย และผู้บังคับบัญชาทุกท่านท่ีมอบโอกาสให้ผู้เขียนได้มีประสบการณ์และพัฒนาความรู้ ในการทางานมาโดยตลอด นางสาวสวุ รา สาครสวสั ดิ์ นกั วิชาการเผยแพร่ชานาญการ ผู้เขยี น
